The "Drone-Osc" uses a weird combination of phase modulation (like in the DX-7 and other FM synths) and phase distortion (Like the Casio CZ-1000). It can easily go from warm tones to harsh noise!"

"The IOTINE CORE is an analog mixing tool designed to allow flexible sound shaping for a recording or live environment. The IC is ideal for breaking up a track for creative sound design and mixing. The dual VCF channels can be used for dynamic filtering, as well as to split and mix the sound by frequency. 14 analog saturation circuits are available for adding character and texture, as well as creating a unique space within the mix. "The Harvestman Hertz Donut MKII being modulated but a Vermona formulator, bubble sound VCOb. no filter, no fx. WMD MME as envelope, intellijel Linix as VCA, kilpatrick step sequencer providing notes and gates.

just exploring this some more. recently got it. long time lover of the HD MKI. they're very very different. i love the sounds i get from both :)

in this patch the VCOb provides some audio rate FM to the primary oscillator from time to time and the fourMulator is doing the rest.. along w/the CV from the step sequencer.

go to the Harvestman's website. download the manual for explanation of the modes and tracking and different wave shaper modes. it's easier for you to read it there than have me try to explain it.

i love how it sounds. very happy with it. it adds a lot to the oscillators i already have"
