"This unique VCO consists of an ultrasonic oscillator core followed by a parallel pair of waveform generators. Each waveform generator consists of a switched multi-octave divider followed by circuitry to generate a 10-step waveform using a set of 10 slider potentiometers. Also included are a novel synchronization circuit with two different operating modes and a built-in "digital ring modulator" (DRM) for producing a wide variety of synchronized and anharmonic sounds. The oscillator core is highly stable (better than 20 ppm/K in the prototype) and features wide-range, accurate tracking (better than 0.05% over fifteen octaves). The variable waveform generator provides fine control over an enormous range of available timbres..."

Moog Polymoog Synthesizer 203a SN 1145

"Here is the Polymoog including a Moog Polypedal, original legs, and custom road case. this model, the 203a allows for full synth tweakability. Its serial number is 1145, marking it as very early production polymoog. It has a few scuffs, but overall its in great cosmetic shape. All sliders and interface buttons are intact.

This synth works pretty well, and has a great sound to it, but has a few issues that need to be addressed for full reliability -

The 3rd highest C key is intermittent, sometimes I'll physically move the synth and it'll comeback or go out again.

The beat/fine-tune knobs on the front panel that are used to tune the two oscillators together are also intermittent, when they do go out, they cannot be tuned together.

The other issue, is that while the "VAR"(the synth mode) works well, some of of the other presets sound weird or very quiet.

This sale will also include the original legs, a matching Moog Polypedal in excellent shape, and a custom road case for the synth..."
