New Super Synthesis PH01II Knob Recorder Eurorack Module

via Super Synthesis on Facebook

"We are pleased to introduce: The PH01II Knob Recorder

The PH01II is the successor of our PH01 Knob Recorder / Tactile sequencer. It lets you record the movement of a knob into a free running loop, for all sorts of LFO, sequencing, and triggering duties. PH01II sports CV in for the rate of the loop, sync in to restart the loop, and sync out to interface with other modules. Videos will be up this week

Sneak Preview of The Digital Logic Noise Module by White Sample

Published on Dec 2, 2013

"Just a quick test of the circuit board.
This is just one of the almost infinite noise loops you can get out of this module.

Ars Electronica, Future Lab, Linz, Austria."

Note this is the first White Sample post.

"I am in Linz, Austria since the end of October in the Ars Electronica Center, as an artist in residence in the Future Lab.

The experience so far has been very positive, meeting very nice people and cool projects.

After a few meetings and presentations my main project changed and I am now developing an Eurorack module, based on Arduino, to produce strange sounds and to be controlled via CV by other modules or audio signals.

Production will be limited to five modules.

For the moment this is classified info, updates will come soon followed by a user manual and schematics.

This is an Open Hardware Project based on The Arduino IDE."

Music From Outer Space DIY Eight Stage Phaser Eurorack Module

Modularsynth.ru has a post up on building the MFOS Eight Stage Phaser in eurorack format.

"The core is chain consisting of eight serially connected phase shifting cells. The signal is taken from output points after 4th and 8th cells. Delay speed can be controlled with internal LFO (two waveforms) and with external CV. Device has 2 audio-outputs. The first is always connected to 4th cell’s output and the second output brings input signal mixed with one of 2 available points mentioned above: 4th and 8th stage.

phase_shifter_1Following controls are available:

Audio-input socket
2 CV-input sockets
2 Audio-output sockets
4-Stage/8-Stage switch
LFO waveform switch
Signal level knob
LFO Speed knob
LFO Depth knob
Feedback amount knob"

Feeling A Pulse - Waldorf Pulse 2

"I picked up the new Pulse 2 synthesizer by Waldorf, and have fallen for the German desktop wonder! This track was really all about discovering the sound and some of the potential of this new analog monosynth. All sounds except the drums are from P2."
