DRM1 & some ideas for the year
via the BugBrand newsletter:
"Hello!
Here is the first BugNews of the year.
2013 was a year with a LOT of change (/chaos?) - I spent half of the year over in Sweden and had a lot of back&forth which didn't lend itself to very consistent work. So there weren't many new releases but it did give me quite a chance to reflect on where things could head in the future & begin work on some new standalones. At the start of 2014 I moved back over to the UK, but now to live over in rural Wales - 45 minutes from the Bug-base in Bristol. No more moving imminent!
While there is still some life-change ahead, hopefully 2014 can be a bit more consistent - for one I'll be able to keep the online shop open permanently (umm, stock allowing..).
What is in store for 2014?
Just a few details for now, but I'm working on...
- 2 new standalone processors.
- Introducing a solid RHYTHMIC Line - initial sketch here
In fact, the Rhythmic Line roll out begins today with..
The DRM1 Major Drum
A fully analogue drum voice synthesiser capable of diverse percussion duties.

Special Moog Voyager Signature Edition SN 598

via the seller: "This is the 598th Signature Edition Moog Voyager. It is the third-to-last one ever made in 2003, and was a special arrangement between a dealer in Los Angeles and Moog Music to receive the last three (598, 599, 600) made in an absolutely gorgeous flamed maple wood chassis to commemorate the end of the run.
Because of this exclusive arrangement, not many people are aware Moog did something special with the final units. The Signature Edition marked the triumphant return of Bob Moog to the analog synthesizer world, so it's truly fitting that the last three instruments got something special, just as the final twenty five original Minimoogs did many years ago.
I bought it brand new in 2003 and later sent it to Moog in Asheville, NC for a full factory calibration & software updates bringing it up to v3.X functionality.
I have only used it sparingly in my smoke-free home studio. It is in MINT condition.
Comes with:
1) Original Moog shipping box
2) All documents (including certificate hand signed by Bob Moog and service record)
3) Original gooseneck lamp
4) Moog soft Voyager Gig Bag ($99 value)
5) Moog ATA Voyager hard case ($319 value)
This is a unique opportunity for the Moog collector to turn the clock back over a decade and pick up a truly special example of this legendary instrument in brand new condition."
