The MAKE NOISE MMG is sculpting the Bass sound & percussive beeps. My STROH (J3RK) box is providing the Noise/Cymbal effect & the Boomstar SEM is pushing the high parts (controlled by the MFB) with reverb added....."

"You may know a bit about the D50 already. The D50 has four distinct sections, a digital synthesizer, a digital equalizer, a digital chorus section and a digital reverb section. No additional effects or processing is needed. The sound is lush and warm like an analog synthesizer.

With this D50 are two Included memory cards, the M-256E Ram 32k Bytes 256 and the PN-D50-01 Patch Data Rom D-50 memeory cards. These cards sell for around at least £40 each by themselves [usually from abroad] and they are both included as part of this deal.

The D-50 was actually used extensively in Micheal Jackson's Bad album, mostly using factory presets because the album was produced so soon after the D-50's release.

In fact the two composers for Star Trek Next Generation, Ron Jones and Dennis McCarthy used the instrument extensively. The opening of McCarthy's Next Generation theme uses the "Glass Voices" patch to play the signature Star Trek theme.

In the movie Alvin & The Chipmunks the actor uses the D-50 for his arrangements."
