"Great condition, works perfectly, LCD screen was just replaced & so was the vibrate potentiometer.
Very rare VX600 analog polyphonic synthesizer from the final days of analog synthesis of the 1980s.
VX600 is a 6-voice, 6-part multitimbral analog synthesizer based on 2 CEM ICs per voice. It houses the CEM3374 dual osc found in the Oberheim Xpander and Rhodes Chroma Polaris and the filters are the CEM 3378 as found in the SCI Prophet VS. Although the VX600 is often compared to the Oberheim Xpander in terms of sound and flexibility, I would say it is quite a different machine in both regards.
VX600 has a bigger bottom end and the resonant qualities are much more rich in the way a Japanese synth sounds, i.e., Jupiter/MKS80.
Capabilities of the VX600 are quite different than the usual synth. The chord mode in particular allows for completely custom, 6-voice, 6-timber chords for each note across the octave. (That is 12 chords per preset) I have never seen this feature anywhere else. The modulation matrix is deep enough to get some very complex sounds. The interface is, with a bit of getting used to, very intuitive and quick."

"CHECK OUT THE FINISHED TRACK HERE - [below]
http://youtu.be/HXr1FryNzzY
We set out to make a track using only the E350 as the single sound source, we create drums (kick, snare, clap, hat, laser perc), bass, pads, leads, layered chords, plucks and phase modulated drones.
Here's the 'Making Of' video for the track with the final bits of audio synced to the footage while making the video. Each patch is explained with accompanying voice over."
