"2 cv inputs, 1 audio input and 4 vcf outs - Hi pass, Low pass, Band pass and notch

Great sounding filter, does not quite reach self oscillation but will oscillate when the Hi pass out is connected to the input, it will then track 1v per octave and can be used as a sine oscillator and can vary in sound depending on how much gain is applied. Also try plugging the band pass into 1 of the cv inputs.. Very interesting to say the least !

It is based on old circuits from the classic Oberhiem VSF and Ms20, and does sound vintage with a lovely squelchy resonance ! Crank the gain and it goes into mild distortion, very juicy indeed

"Based on the classic SEM 2040 filter most commonly found in the Prophet 5

It also has a VCA built in, with 3 different configurations- pre vcf- post vcf or off as to be a stand alone VCF

In VCA mode even without using the filter, ie, fully open and no res its a great vca with loads of gain

A very good sounding filter indeed, more info here"

Critter & Guitari Melody Mill Pattern Record

Published on May 9, 2014 bigcitymusic·334 videos

"Here is a demonstration of pattern recording with the Critter and Guitari Melody Mill.

1. Hold the bottom right button on the Melody Mill (labeled 'Seq') until the LED turns red. This indicates that the module is armed for recording.

2. Play a melody. After you are finished, press the 'Seq' button again. The LED will turn green indicating that the pattern you've recorded is now playing back.

All of the Melody Mill's modes and parameters remain adjustable while in recording or playback mode.

Sound source is the Cwejman D-LFO enveloped by the Mutable Instruments Tides."

mi.1 is a wireless MIDI interface between Digital Piano and iPhone or iPad.

On Indiegogo here.

This looks promising. There are other wireless MIDI adapters on the market, but look a the size of this. It's virtually seamless. Also note the iPad integration.

Some synth spotting at 3:00. I met QUICCO SOUND at NAMM. They are also coming out with a bluetooth wireless MIDI controller. The designers are ex Roland and Yamaha. One designed the Roland JP-8000.
