"Vintage ARP odyssey 2813 analog synthesizer. full restoration. Item has brand new key-bushings and has had all of the contacts on the keyboard cleaned and aligned. All of the slide pots have been removed, disassembled, cleaned, properly lubricated, and reassembled. The PPC has been opened and cleaned to ensure it is fully functional. The rubber PPC mat is in good shape. The power supply is original, but has been updated with some new parts so it will run consistently. This item has been completely gone through. It has had some of the power rail bypass caps and a few of the operational amplifiers in the CV generation section replaced as part of the restoration. It has been tuned and calibrated to factory spec with a Peterson strobe tuner. Cosmetic condition is good for a vintage item. Item has a few scratches, most of which is on the bottom. See pictures. Over all it is in great condition for a vintage synthesizer.

This is a great sounding analog keyboard. Short warm up. Starts right up and plays great."

Music Thing Mikrophonie Modular

Published on Jun 4, 2014 Robin Rimbaud-Scanner·47 videos

"New sonic adventures with Mikrophonie by Music Thing Modular/Tom Whithwell, with a very easy way to bring environmental noise and feedback into a modular system, inspired by the early days of electroacoustic music in Paris and Cologne.

Here I am running a TipTop BD808 Bass Drum sequenced from TipTop Trigger Riot, processed through Audio Damage Dub JR. The Clock is sent to the FM input of the Synthesis Technology Morphing Terrarium e350, which is sent through a Qu-Bit Electronix RT60 reverb, and then modulated by hand too. The Mikrophonie is played by hand drumming on the piezo contact mic connected to the module, triggering a Make Noise STO, passed through the TipTop Z2040 LP-VCF and TipTop Z-DSP VC Digital Signal Processor with the Halls of Valhalla card inserted. All of which is mixed into the Intellijel Mutamix/Linix.

All recorded live with no editing."

Game of Thrones Remix on NESKeytar (8-bit)

Published on Jun 3, 2014 Theremin Hero·28 videos

"Full explanation of the NESKeytar construction and it's various features coming soon.
Yes, I know I misspelled "functional". A complete lack of proof reading, woops :(

Most of the buttons are functional and can be remapped to different functions, as can the whammy bar. It also has an onboard arpeggio and drum sequencer.

The sound comes from the original RP2A03 chip in the NES, giving it that classic 8-bit sound. All of the available sound channels are utilised.

The software runs on a raspberry pi and is written in a language called Pure Data (pd). There are various modes including a midi controller mode as well as a standalone mode, which allows the whole instrument to be used with a battery pack.

Components:
NES
Guitar Hero Controller
Famicom Controller
NES controller
Toy Keyboard
3 Mini Arduinos
Raspberry Pi
MaxM LEDs
Midi IN/OUT connections
MidiNES / Chip Maestro

"A high-quality 2 channels signal generator for the iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad with wide frequency range (1 Hz - 20000 Hz).
Create sine waves, square waves, triangle waves, saw waves, white noise and pink noise. Amplitude modulation and channels summary are available also.
You can:
• testing speaker systems
• balancing home theater speakers levels
• testing and tuning audio amplifiers, equalizers, crossovers and many other equipment
• use output in balanced mode
You can enter frequency (phase) values enter manually or with help of knobs in two modes (coarse and fine). You can use sweep frequency mode.
Phase shift for both channels for iPad and for second (R) channel only for iPhone/iPod
Link frequency mode - link frequency of second channel to first channel.
Internal oscilloscope and level meter for better clarity.
Generator is accurate, reliable, precise, and clean.
Three calibrated master output level modes (0.7V, 1.0V, 1.4V)
Note that non-sine waves have perceived transient processes that some distort ideal output from above about 1400Hz.
