Electric Beat Box: Roland CR-8000
Published on Aug 7, 2014 my4trackmachine
"The Roland CR-8000 lies somewhere between the sounds of the older CR machines and the TR-808 (just listen to that cowbell). It came with several banks of preset rhythms, some simple level controls over it's sounds and 8 spaces for user programmed patterns. The sequencer is basic but the sounds are solid (especially that clap).
Without proper live editing the CR-8000 is much better as a studio instrument then a live one and even stranger not all sounds are accessible for user created patterns."
