Erica Synths Polivoks(ish) ADSR EG demo
Published on Nov 4, 2014 EricaSynths
"Demo by Erica Synths teamrider $KODEK. Erica Synths Polivoks(ish) ADSR envelope generator is another module in Erica Synths DIY Polivoks modules line. If other modules in Erica Synths Polivoks line are updated versions of original designs and use original Russian parts, because they are in sound generation/shaping chain, the envelope generator is designed from scratch. It mimics Polivoks envelope generator behavior, but it has much wider setting range, greater stability, has unique, unseen before technical solutions and few interesting features like Hard Gate off switch (instantly turns EG in trigger mode) and envelope offset adjustment by Sustain knob in loop mode (4:25 on video)"

"Patch notes:
Kick and Snare coming from Ableton Live. Meadowphysics clocked via ES3.
Basimilus Iteratus is row 3 of MP.
Cyclebox II is row 5, being trigger via Maths. Maths channel four 'cycle' is being turned on and off via some of the other rows and Intellijel Plog, from the Data out. Falls of both channels also being modulated as is Cyclebox ratio (mostly from Modcan Quad LFO).
Makenoise Mysteron is row 7. A Cwejman RG6 modulating the generation parameter.
Cwejman MMF6 on most of this, and the Mysteron is also going through an Intellijel Korgasmatron II.
Intellijel Mutamix is mixing, into an Azimuth II (doing some panning) and finally Audio Interface II back to the computer."

MMM (Maths as a Modulation Machine)
Published on Nov 4, 2014 GruithuisenCityMan
"Hello ! My name is Frederic Gerchambeau. I have made this movie and this music. The music has been made using an analog modular synthesizer including an Maths.
Did you know it ? A Maths can self-generate enough modulation signals to modulate twice and differently three oscillators. I am talking about six different modulation signals that will do their lovely sonic dance in our delighted ears !
Enjoy !"

Nova Musik - Korg KROME Music Workstation with Rich Formidoni
Published on Nov 4, 2014 Nova Musik
"Check out great deals on Korg KROME at Nova Musik:
http://www.novamusik.com/ssearch/?q=k...
Rich Formidoni from Korg USA gave us an overview of the Korg KROME Music Workstation, including a demonstration of how sounds can be built from the ground up using a familiar subtractive synthesis signal flow approach.
Krome has a full complement of the features you've come to expect from a Korg workstation, starting with the 16-track sequencer, but there's much, much more: Krome comes complete with a rich suite of tools to jumpstart your creative urges. There's the convenient Auto Song Setup function: if inspiration strikes while you're playing a program or combination, simply press the REC switch to start recording immediately. Each Template Song assigns popular sounds to sequencer tracks through pre-routed effects to match a specific musical genre. Achieve lightning-fast arrangements using Korg's Cue List, and build an armada of instant-access patterns using the RPPR (Realtime Pattern/Play Recording) feature. Go back and you can make any changes using the convenient piano-roll editing.
In addition to Korg's well-proven workstation features, Krome features a carefully chosen selection of the top sounds available today for bread-and-butter keyboard instruments such as piano and electric piano, as well as vital and dynamic drum kits, giving you the best of the basics. These highly usable piano, electric piano, and drum sounds by themselves set Krome apart from any other keyboard in its class. With sound quality and features normally found in much more expensive instruments, Krome aspires to set a whole new value standard and become a unique and irreplaceable partner for real-world musicians."
