"2014年秋に復活を遂げた"electribe"1台だけで、新進気鋭のミュージシャンがオリジナル曲を作って演奏するシリーズ企画。

第3回目は、Detune社のNintendo 3DSダウンロード専用ソフト「KORG DSN-12」発売直後のコンテストで大賞に輝き、その後開催されたユーザー・イベントでも驚愕の演奏テクニックを披露したPAINTVOX氏。

この動画でも、彼はelectribeの想定される使い方とは違ったテクニックをいくつも見せており、先入観に囚われない発想と、そこから生み出される自由な音に、（DSN-12のイベントに続いて）再び驚かされました。

This is the third in a series of videos featuring three young, energetic musicians who have produced their work using only the KORG electribe.

The third video highlights PAINTVOX, winner of the “2014 KORG DSN-12 commercial contest for best music”, an achievement that allowed him to present his skills at an event hosted by DETUNE

This video showcases his incredible playing technique and style.

Armed with only a few sustained sounds from Ableton Live and a TR-8, KiNK shows how the MX-1 takes electronic music performance to the next level. The latest in Roland's AIRA line, the MX-1 Mix Performer is a mixer that plays like an instrument. It brings spontaneous, hands-on control to live electronic music performance. With per-channel step based FX and playable Master FX, the MX-1 brings together your synths, drum machines, DAW tracks and more.

In this video, KiNK is streaming a handful of sustained sounds from Ableton Live directly to the MX-1. A TR-8 is connected with a single cable via AIRA Link. The MX-1 is controlling transport and master tempo of the entire setup. You'll see how KiNK uses the per-channel Beat FX to add rhythm to the sustained loops from Ableton Live and then incorporates the TR-8 in perfect sync. Using the MX-1's "External Mode" KiNK is even able to apply Ableton Live's own internal FX processing to the TR-8 hardware.

"Live play action with Akai Miniak and Korg Volca Keys. Also live looping. Volca Keys is controlled by the master midi keytar. Live sing, voice through the MicroKORG vocoder. Bassline from Microbrute sequencer. Some voices prerecorded on Boss RC-505. Drumline by two different drumkits of the Kaossilator2, and additional drum by Korg Volca Beats.
