"This synth does have the J-Wire keyboard contacts. These contacts have been cleaned, as have all the pot and switches. Everything operates smoothly with no scratchiness."

Braids Alternate Firmware: Bees in the Trees

Published on Mar 6, 2015 Chris Penalosa

"A jam session with the Mutable Instruments Braids module, loaded up with the alternate firmware Bees in the Trees. This hacked firmware, by Braids user Bennelong Bicyclist, extends the module's capabilities by adding internal modulation sources and a sequencer for the oscillator models. Braids is being processed by the Make Noise MMG, the Phonogene, and the Modcan Dual Delay. The first segment uses heavy internal modulation of Braids and the second segment utilizes the meta-sequencer.
Full description of the firmware: timchurches.github.io/Mutated-Mutables/
The sound sources for this patch are the Mutable Instruments Braids, Peaks, and the Intellijel Shapeshifter."

Cluster Sound Releases MS-20 Free Live Pack

"MS-20 is a free multi-sample Live Pack reproducing the sound of the vintage Korg MS-20 MKII, the second generation of the super-star analog synthesizer released in 1978.

Released in the late í70s by Korg, the MS-20 is a stunning and very popular analog monophonic synth. Thanks to its semi-modular design the MS-20 can generate fat round basses, sinuous-worm leads and any type of analog sound FX. A great sounding machine, a milestone in the history of analog synths.

MS-20 is a free Live Pack based on 28 multi-sample recordings obtained by sampling several VCO, VCF and Ring Modulator settings. The included perfectly looped samples (each note of 4 transposed octaves) have been packed into 46 Instrument Racks with dedicated controls and 48 Sampler Devices for easy customization.

This is not the new KORG ARP Odyssey!"

Moog Source Analog Synthesizer SN 6489

"Up for sale is a vintage Moog Source. This one is in great vintage condtion with normal scuffs and scratches. There is a faint hairline shadow on a key, its barely visible and not cracked. Everything is original to my knowledge except a mod for what looks like to be an old computer hook up. I am not familiar with the type of connection so I cannot say for sure. I am also not away if this affects any of the other connections around the mod. My technical limitations do not stretch this far. It doesnt however effect the overall sound, output, or functions of the control panel. I have owned about every Moog model made, with the exception of vintage modulars, and this is the best(In my opinion) aside from the Minimoog model D which offers another oscillator. This one differs and expands the sound by offering an on board arppegiator and basic sequencer. It comes with a bound copy of the manual."
