"Hello, here are a few impressions of how i did programed my Casio VZ10m Synthesizer. The audio was recorded in one take without any edits. This is no music or proper playing of the synthesizer. All patches has just been stepped through from my internal and ram banks quickly. Personally i think the VZ10m is a great synthesizer, although it's maybe a sealed book most of the time. Most sounds has been programmed with an editor and how i like them. Happy Listening ^^)"
"My first patch with the wonderful Radio Music module by Music Thing.
The Radio Music module is loaded with the suggested audio from Tom Whitwell, the legend behind Music Thing.
The tuning and reset in the Radio Music module are being provided by the Doepfer A-155 Sequencer, which is in turn being clocked by the TipTop Trigger Riot.
The output of the Radio Music is split to three different processors, the Synthesis Technology E580 Delay, an Eventide 1745M Delay and a Mutable Instruments Clouds.
A couple of drones, one from a Doepfer A-110 Oscillator and another from a Neutron Sound Orgone Accumulator are underpinning everything.
Minimal drums are provided by a couple of Ladik D-333 ROM Players.
"I've not had time or the presence of mind for music recently, but I had this first recording I'd made with the Minibrute sitting on my hard drive since I bought it last year, so I thought I'd add it to some recent footage of my travels, as I didn't film the actual recording process. It was my first experiment using the built-in sequencer running in random mode and tweaking the sound in real-time. When I recorded the Tetra drone (see 'Push it' in my videos) I remembered this recording and wondered how it would sound laid over the top, so last night I recorded 2 drones directly over the top of it using the Minibrute again, tweaking both sounds in real time, and panning them off to the left and right. I'm not sure if I like it, as I'm happy enough just listening to a single synth playing random arpeggios for hours on end, but I'm never completely happy with anything.
Thanks for listening/reading. I'll have some more videos uploaded soon."
