Another live Korg Volca jam !! This one combines everything I learned on the Korg Volca Bass , Korg Volca Keys and Korg Volca Beats in prevous jams and combines it with the AlesisQX49. The Microkorg and Roland Boutique JU-06 are layered to create the pad sound which I play live on the AlesisQX49. The Korg Volca Bass , Korg Volca Beats and Korg Volca Keys are on sequence duty. The Microkorg and Roland Boutique JU-06 work so well together. I couldn't keep still making this track. Hope you enjoy it."

Maxi-Korg + (SQ1 x 2) + KR-55 =

"Twiddling knobs to verify correct installation of Kenton's Maxi-Korg CV retrofit...

KR-55 drives two SQ-1's - one controlling pitch/gate of upper and lower voices - the second controls HPF and LPF cutoffs. Cutoffs are shared across both voices... These could be controlled independently if I had another SQ1..."

epocalypse (live performance on buchla easel)

Published on Feb 23, 2016 Peter Maas

"Live performance on a buchla easel. Main oscilator is not tracking to keyboard, mod osc is, to create interesting harmonies. Slightly overdriving a TC SCF pedal and a healthy dose of valhalla shimmer reverb."

Modular Minutes: Stereo Freezing with the Audio Damage ADM15 Spectre

"Modular Minutes: Stereo Freezing with the Audio Damage ADM15 Spectre

In this episode we were doing our first exploration of real-time digital signal processing by means of the Audio Damage - ADM15 Spectre - doing some FFT modulation based on a simple audio sequence coming from the Intellijel designs - Atlantis. Modulation and processing were also partly synced together by the help of the Intellijel designs - Metropolis. Check the video comments for details of the patch!

Synthesizers.com Random Sequencer Patch

"Example of using a Q960 to sequence 12 predetermined pitches in random order, very slowly. Synth is going through a ping-pong delay set to 7 seconds with long delay trails, and a bit of plate reverb. i actually recorded another version that crawls along at about half this speed and i like it much better as a musical piece, but it didn't suit the purpose of this video as well.

Note that i'm only using the first 6 steps of the Q960. That's because i needed the gate outputs to trigger the envelope, and i can only combine 6 of them into a Q961 Interface and control the gate time. But i am using two rows of the Q960, switching between them with a Q128 Switch, and controlling the switch with the sample-and-hold random output; it randomly chooses A or B of the switch, and i can weight it toward A and B by using an offset in a Q125 Signal Processor (A, the middle row of the sequencer has more dissonant notes than B, the bottom row, and i step in to adjust this balance a couple of times). There's also a bum note in there at one point, but i get pretty lucky tuning it back to pitch on-the-fly."
