Watch Tinami's customizable MIDI controllers in action at Sónar 2017 - Gear Guide
Published on Jun 22, 2017 FACTmagazine
"Build your own MIDI controller.
Sónar’s 24th Barcelona festival took place last weekend, and on top of a stellar line-up of artists that included Princess Nokia, Anderson .Paak, The Black Madonna and many more, there was lots of exciting music gear on show in its Sónar+D area.
One of our favorite devices came from Tinami, a startup that specializes in building customizable MIDI controllers. These can be individually tailored via its website and be used for controlling synths, effects and more."

#SYNTH BIKE 3.0 THE #EXCERSISE BIKE FOR THE MUSICIAN
Published on Jun 22, 2017 LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER
"This bike was built for Science Gallery Dublin, where you can actually ride it right now till september!
Its primary goal was to be useable by anyone. The last synth bike was very cryptic, it had more functions but was hard to understand! This is a synth bike for everyone.
Its an analog synth, and a drum machine all built into a groove box on handlebars. It consists of 12 arduinos! The synth is An oscillator going into a frequency central VCF VCA, and also being quantized and octaved by a Frequency central TRANS EUROPA. there is a wav trigger holding all of the drums! and the power supplies are FREQUENCY CENTRAL also. its a proper spaghetti junction!

Exploring the Yamaha CS-60
Published on Jun 22, 2017 raycastile
"A walk-through of the Yamaha CS-60, with a lot of improvised noodling along the way. This is my first 'walk-through' video, and probably my last. It's pretty rough and clumsy, but I think the beauty of the synth comes through."
