1. 01- The Analogue Solutions Fusebox- Introduction
"Here is a piece of music created with the new Analogue Solutions Fusebox. All of the tonal aspects were created with the Fusebox. The song is based on a live performance of the bass line using a combination of the Interval Generator and the Patternator. These two functions, when used together, can create extremely expressive, changing, and changeable sequences.
An entire series on the Fusebox is forthcoming.

Most of the drums in this song were sequenced on an Ensoniq EPS-16+ using a combination of drum samples from a variety of sources, including the Alesis SR-16.

Chords, melodies, harmonies, sound effects, automated arpeggiation, and one drum fill were all multitracked after-the-fact."

"At the end of the 70s Wolfgang Palm developed wavetable synthesis. This was very successful and used by many synthesizer companies in the 80s and 90s. But this technology has its limitations. The main reason is that all sounds are harmonic. In nature this does not happen very often. Many sounds like a piano string have small offsets from the harmonic frequencies. This is even stronger in sounds like bells or percussion.

Infinite overcomes this limitation.

Sonic Pi V3 and the Mother-32

The Mad Music Machine
Published on Aug 2, 2017

"A family day out in Brighton led to us stumbling across the GAK musical instrument store. Inside we tried out various equipment before deciding that the Moog Mother-32 would make a great additional voice for the Mad Music Machine.

Here's our first test of it with Sonic Pi V3"

And:

Mutant Snare & Mutant Hihats added to the Mad Music Machine

"We added the Mutant Snare and Mutant Hihats to the Mad Music Machine today - but soon realised we didn't have enough patch cables to connect everything up the way we wanted!

So we modified our existing Sonic Pi drum machine code to work with external MIDI and ran the drum modules through the System-1m to the Trigger Out.

We then set up a simple System-1m patch to use the 4 MIDI notes as they passed through to the drum modules"

Behringer Model D Demo/Comparison (by Synthpro)

"Hello Everyone,

This is a demo of the Behringer model D. I am a beta tester for this unit and I go over some of my first impressions as far as build quality, features, tone quality, and even a direct comparison to a real vintage minimoog model D from 1972, (The Real Test). Note: this vintage minimoog has the rev 2 oscillators, (not the oscillator using the thermally regulated voltage to exponential current converter UA726) and all other boards are original as well.

This Behringer Model D has left a great first impression with myself but I leave you guys to be the judge.

There will be another video covering the noise source as well as the EG controlling the pitch, forgot to cover that in this video.

I want to send a very special thank you to Uli Behringer for the opportunity to test and demo this unit.

P.S
For the Moog Fans:
I have to be completely honest, this was one of the toughest videos I have made because of the fact Im a huge moog enthusiast, (as you can see from so many of my other videos) but I also have say that the new moog music has made a critical mistake in business, they brought back something without owning all the rights. I hate it for moog but at the same time I wish all the best to them and hope this experience kick starts them back into engineering shape, ( I would love to see something new from moog). I have never heard of a company moving forward by going backwards and I leave it at that.

Thanks for watching!

Sincerely,
Jareth"

Best Ambient Synth Shootout #31: E-MU Morpheus - Song 2

Christian's Sonic Spaces
Published on Aug 2, 2017

"Another E-MU Morpheus song ;-) It's a Z-Plane Synthesizer which has an unique filter morphing technology that can create organic spacy sounds. So it's good for ambient too ;-)

I used for the recording the following FX chain:
Morpheus - Elektron Analog Heat - EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath - TC Electronic Mimiq - Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe - DigiTech Polara. The used fx varied depending on the recorded track.

The signal goes via a small Behringer mixer straight into the pc.

To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. The final song was then mastered with just a bit EQ and compression on some tracks and some limiting on the master track.

Well, I decided to go back to the basics, but at the same time make something useful for the synth community and do a kind of competition (I like competitions;-). What's my best synth for ambient music :-)"

DIY analogue synth project Tutorial Part 12 (12db SEM type state variable filter)

"Hey guys here is another talk/tutorial from me covering my second VCFs' circuit topology. Please note you will need a bipolar +/-12 or +/-15v power supply for the quad op amp and the lm13700/lm13600 operational transconductatance amplifier. The original circuit I drew inspiration from is here in the following link, http://electro-music.com/wiki/pmwiki..... Also check out the original SEM schematic and there is yusynth versionwhich I cant find the link for. I will be posting my schematics soon with a link."
