Blinksonic Now Compatible with Reaktor Player
via BLINKSONIC°
"Boost & Stimulate your music production with original sound concepts.
NOISY, WONKY, GLITCHY ENSEMBLES MADE FOR REAKTOR PLAYER
Announcement « Blinksonic° is now made for Reaktor Player »:
As Native Instruments announced it few weeks ago, Reaktor powers now third-party synths and effects.
I am delighted to confirm that all BLINKSONIC° instruments are now formated to be compatible with the free REAKTOR PLAYER.
They can be opened either in standalone or as a VST/AU/AAX plug-in within your favorite DAW. This, with no extra cost, because for now it’s not necessary to have a full license of Reaktor 6 to run RUIDOZ°, AETØNZ°, SUBSTANZ° and VOZ°.
Note : This update is free for existing users.
About :
BLINKSONIC° is a self project conducted by Sylvain Stoppani, a french artist and sound designer, who’s involved in the Electronica IDM, Glitch and Breakcore music scene since 2001.
Created in 2016, he provides a complete set of sampling tools with their own sonic ecosystem and a highly illustrated graphic workflow.
BLINKSONIC° instruments are a complementary collection of sample-based instruments for sound design or live performance. BLINKSONIC° develops musical toolboxes guided by specific principles for composing and musically arranging samples. All BLINKSONIC° software ships with ready-to-use sample libraries resulting in audio tools that are playable, fun, and interactive.
The entire musical process is available at your hands with all the techniques ideal for live performance. Thanks to Reaktor’s versatility, BLINKSONIC° ensembles can be used either standalone or within a DAW.

Gotharman CS Filter 1/2: overview (LMS Eurorack Expansion)
Published on Sep 7, 2017 Learning Modular
"This is the first of two movies on the IG000155 version of the Gotharman CS Filter. In addition to being a 2-pole multimode filter based on the classic Yamaha CS filter chip (IG00156) and its organ variant (IG00155: more bass; supposedly less crazy resonance), the Gotharman version takes the crown from Polivoks clone for being the most insane, unstable filter I’ve heard when pushed with high signal levels combined with high cutoff and resonance settings. This movie demonstrates how to move it between tame 2-pole response and crazy bursts of high-frequency oscillation. I also briefly touch on its high and bandpass modes in addition to low pass.
The second movie – which dives deeper into its behavior (including spectrograph displays), plus spends more time exploring the other filter modes – is exclusive to my Patreon supporters: https://www.patreon.com/LearningModular

Matt Verbos & Mark Didemus live from HerrSchneider on Vimeo.
"Mark Verbos and Matt Didemus played a performance on SUPERBOOTH17 here. Both living in Berlin now could visit me in my office for a chat yesterday where we recorded this interview. At the end of it you will see the performance Mark and Matt played live, before this we show you the brilliant Gesprächskonzert by Mark Verbos introducing his modular products to our great audience on Superbooth and to you. Please forgive us some cuts that we had to make towards dropouts and technical issues while recording, I think were getting better week by week."

An Update on Deckard’s Dream

via Roman Filippov / Deckard’s Dream / Black Corporation
"First of all, we would like to thank you for your patience and bearing with us as we have been working hard to set up operations in Tokyo. It has been quite a wonderful experience working with new manufacturing partners in Japan, but there have been some challenges as well. The PCB factory, for example, had to redo the run because the first boards failed the flying probe test, which took some time. We now have the process better streamlined so things will go more smoothly moving forward.
That said, here are some updates about Deckard’s Dream!
DIY Kits:
We are almost ready with the DIY kits. The PCBs are being populated with SMT parts at the moment and should be ready to ship in about 2 weeks. The final revision of the Bill of Materials (BOM) will be posted on the Deckard’s Dream website within a week (There is a preliminary BOM posted on the Muff Wiggler website, however this is for reference only, it is not the final
revision, so please do not rely on it).
We are also currently working on and shooting photos for the detailed build manual.
Good News! We have omitted all of the trimmers, so there will be no calibration required.
There are still DIY kits available for sale.
Prebuilt Units:
The fully built units are also under production. We are currently waiting on the motherboards and voice cards from an SMT pick-and-place factory. Hardware part already done. We are looking to start shipping the first fully built units in about 3 weeks and aiming to have the whole batch out no later than mid-October.
We will email each customer a week before their order is ready to ship with a link to pay the balance and complete the order.
The next pre-sale of fully built units will go on sale once we get the first run shipped out.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at support@black-corporation.com.
Again, thank you for all of your patience!

Toyo Gakki Ult Sound DS-4 Analog Drum Synthesizer Demo Video
Published on Sep 7, 2017 Sound Provider
"Mini Jam with the lovely Ult Sound DS-4 ProMuzer Analog Drummachine from Toyo Gakki.
It a rare Japanese four channel analogue drum synth made by Toyo Gakki in the 80's and used by Yellow Magic Orchestra. It is little noisy but fun to use and very cute with its case.
This version is modded with separate outputs for each sound, and being triggered via the Arturia Beatstep Pro.
We already use it on all the "Analog Drum Now" series Soundbank and most of our soundPack. (http://www.sound-provider.eu/ )"
