Only issue is the stiff aftertouch that all these JD-800 keyboards suffer from. This can be fixed with a change of resistor which I never undertook."

"In this video we use three Intellijel Plonks to make a variety of percussion and melodic sounds.

Plonk from Intellijel is a modal synthesizer voice that uses physical modelling to create a wide variety of percussive and textural timbres. The module's modal synthesis engine, developed with the help of Applied Acoustic Systems, allows for realistic emulation of plates, membranes, strings and beams. The module also features a compact design that relies on an OLED screen that can be used to both configure parameters as well as view live modulation patterns of the waveforms being generated by the module. Fans of Mutable Instruments Rings will be right at home with this unique resonator unit.
