"This sequence was made with the mighty GRP A4 synthesizer. 2 oscillators receive different notes. 1 oscillator just receives the gates.

I have added some reverb and delay. The sequence is transposed via midi.

I am wearing gloves because my special fx team instructed me to do so. However the effect became less dramatically as I have used it under daylight. ... doh ..."

"Sans rien toucher, leurs mains créent des sons et des images dans l’espace. DU BOUT DES DOIGTS est un projet hybride entre concert, spectacle et performance, autour de deux arts atypiques et méconnus : l’ombromanie et le thérémine. Deux mots aux consonances assez proches ; deux arts qui possèdent une même approche : ne rien toucher, laisser les mains « libres ». Libres de mouvement, libres de créer dans l’espace, mais d’une manière très précise.

Interview de Philippe Beau et Coralie Ehinger lors de la résidence à la Gaîté Lyrique, avant la première du spectacle (29.10.17).

"Ahead of the 2018 NAMM Show, Moog Music took over a house in Echo Park, CA and turned it into the 'House of Electronicus'.

They invited synthesist Bana Haffar, who co-founded the 'Modular on the Spot' series of electronic music picnic events, to come and perform at the House, with Moog's new DFAM.

The DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) is a Eurorack synth module that's tailored to percussive sounds. But, as Haffar demonstrates in the video, it's useful for a lot of other types of sounds, too."

Sound was taken directly from the mixer into my Canon EOS5D MKIII. No mastering, no other effects and no normalization."

"This is almost identical to the Airbase 99: bass drum, snare drum, hi and low toms, hats, clap, rim shot, crash and ride. Bass, snare and toms are all analog, like with everything Jomox.
The spare samples in the AirBase 99 are different in the JaZBase for a unique edge: 24 acoustic drum samples - very nice for the junglists out there. The JaZBase has adjustable start points for each sample as well - very nice. The 808 hats are still here in the JaZBase so do not fear.
