"Here's the result of the hardware versus software synthesizer showdown! in this video I'll share the track created using just free software VST plugins and Reaper DAW.
To recap, Espen Kraft composed and created a track on his vintage hardware synthesizers and drum machines .The challenge was for me to re-create it using just software."

ft. Joe Savage - Bad Luck (Elektron Digitone + SM Pro Audio V-Machine)
Published on Apr 14, 2018 Rephazer
"Little Jam using the Elektron Digitone and SM Pro Audio V-machine featuring Joe Savage and his copyrighted song Bad Luck. :)
In this jam I've used the 4 midi channels of the Digitone to sequence the V-Machine which I've loaded with some melodic and drum samples of my OP-1 sample collection and the V-Machine is also used for processing all the audio with all kinds of lo-fi wobble/wow and flutter effects.
All rights regarding the original vocal and video belong to their respective owners. Credits to Joe Savage and the Alan Lomax Archive."

Moog Circuit Bending Challenge 2018
Published on Apr 14, 2018 Mike Sisk
"This is my entry to the 2018 Moog Circuit Bending Challenge. I circuit bent a Barbie Karaoke by adding multiple feedback distortions, pitch adjustments, and delay length. I also added an "Atari Punk Console" built with a 556 IC as a sound source and a low pass filter that is controlled by a small joystick from an old Playstation controller. Also added an old telephone handset as a microphone input.
I call this device the "Atari Punk Barbie."

4-Minute Improvised Volca Jam #4 (2018-03-29)
Published on Apr 14, 2018 Slenterende Beer
"Our fourth attempt at a short improvised jam for the #VOLCAJAMII contest on the "Korg Volca Series" Facebook group. We picked this one as our entry to the contest. What we liked most about this one is how, through improvisation, the melodies and bass line come together really well.
Korg Volca Sample + Waldorf 2-Pole Analog Filter
Korg Volca Bass + Zoom MS-50G
Korg Volca FM + Zoom MS-70CDR
Korg Volca Keys + GFI System Specular Reverb V2
Behringer XENYX QX1002USB
Recorded with iPhone 7 and Behringer UCA202.
The little black boxes connected to the Volcas are ground loop isolators, to reduce background noise."
