"We've decided to compact a bit our live systems. Here is a short test drive of my ''drums and samples'' system that now also includes two Z-DSPs, so no dedicated FX skiff needed.

Toms909, SD808, CP909, RS909 -> MixZ -> Vermona VcDrive -> Toppobrillo Multifilter Hi Pass -> Z2040
Cymbl909, Hats808, Hats909

Samples: 4x Tiptop ONE
1 - one shot samples -> VCA for accents
2 - Chords
3 - Loops -> Tiptop Forbidden Planet prototype -> Z2040 (FM by Z4000)
4 - Long samples -> R*S VSVCF (FM by Z4000)

The two filtered ONEs that are playing long or continues samples are running through filters that are heavily modulated by the two Z4000s (triggered from dedicated trigger outs) to create percussive sounds, rhythm and bass structures.

Sequenced using Tiptop's Circadian Rhythms, Trigger Riot and Antimatter's Launch Codes

This system is specifically designed to play rhythm section as part of ZV_K.

"I got Monome Norns running on Pisound/Push2 (thank you Mark Harris aka thetechnobear) and it's absolutely wicked - so much potential. Here I'm using the 'wormhole' script - a variation on one of the Norns studies and then the Flin script (getting brave and switching patches/setup while I'm playing - working towards playing live all the time :-) )

I paired it with the Organelle and Audio Damages brand new Quanta and let it all take me where it wanted to go......."
