1. Waldorf Quantum demo - DRAGAN Custom made preset by CO5MA

This is my first custom made preset for the Waldorf Quantum i received 4 days ago. Instant crush, that's a true incredible synth....

This preset is using 3 oscillators on two parts for a total of 6 oscillators!

- The first part is using: 2 waveforms (1 sinus, 1 saw) and 1 sculpted white noise
- The second part is using: 2 wavetables and 1 granular

This is a live improvisation and not a recorded sequence.

2. Waldorf Quantum demo - Extreme noodling with MANA7 Custom made preset by CO5MA

This preset is using 3 oscillators on two parts for a total of 6 oscillators!

- The first part is using: 1 granular, 1 resonator, 1 waveform (saw)
- The second part is using: 2 wavetables and 1 resonator

This is a live improvisation and not a recorded sequence.

Try out some vintage gear, check out the latest new products from leading manufacturers, and share ideas and techniques for creating exciting new sounds. We will have a large space for tables and exciting product demonstrations for this event, so feel free to reserve a table if you would like to bring some gear to demo. Everyone is welcome!

For those of you bringing gear, feel free to arrive between noon and 1 PM for setup. Headphones or a small set of speakers are recommended. Also we will provide a single power source for your setup but it would be great if everyone could bring their own power strip. We will have someone at the front door to check you in. KORG 700 Vintage Analog Synthesizer

"What I love about the 700 is that it has it’s own unique tone. It’s timbre is uniquely Japanese, soft, wistful and searing in a way that compliments the bolder, brasher American synths from the likes of Moog, Sequencial Circuits Inc, or Oberheim. It sits nicely in any mix and makes people say “what's that sound, what’s that keyboard?”

Just listen to anything from Kitaro… those beautiful solos are the KORG700.

For a 40+ year old synth it’s incredibly stable… it stays in tune far better then new analogs so it actually makes for a great live solo synth however, there aren’t any pitch or mod wheels - this synth needs to be played!

This unit is fully functioning… in very nice shape cosmetically, it looks fine next to other, newer synths but remember, it is vintage and the toggle switch caps are a bit lose (but they are all there) and the volume fader is a bit scratchy… set it and forget it, which is probably why it’s scratchy, and the wood side are weathered somewhat - all the charm of a good instrument."
