"ARP Solina String Ensemble First Model with Original Factory Chorus Mod, Expression Pedal and Case

ARP / Eminent Solina String Ensemble E.K. (first model) in very good condition, a few scrathes on wood panels and most of the lettering on the front panel is gone, but the buttons and keys are in good condition.

Sounds amazing, a bit more "open" and trebly compared to the more classic E.K. 2's.
No oxidation or double triggering, a joy to play!

This particular one was modified by ARP/Eminent in the Netherlands, where it was originally purchased straight from the factory: a Chorus button.
Not to be confused with the regular Modulation, which is permanently engaged on this early version, but a very sweet sounding, slow vibrato and chorus effect. We've never seen or heard this mod before.

Included is the rare Expression pedal, works fine but should probably be calibrated for optimal performance, the note stand (!) and an elegant made-to-measure, padded suitcase."

"OB-XA in excellent condition. Works like original. Maintained by Boomer of SynthCo in Los Angeles. Has a Encore MIDI kit installed. Its the better of the two MIDI kits available for OB-Xa's. Exterior in excellent condition other than a few minor scratches on the top (see pics). Includes rare OB-Xa studio cover. Comes with pedal. Has been used rarely in smoke free studio."

Mutable Instruments Stages - Easter Egg - Harmonic Oscillator - Full Accompaniment

Published on Dec 12, 2018 isvisible isinvisible

"The Mutable Instruments Stages has a fantastic Easter Egg, a Harmonic Oscillator.
There's no secret button combo or anything like that to remember, just use the provided cable that came with it and join the two sets of 3 pins on the back of the module.

I've made another video of this patch, but just using the Stages and doing a quick demo, here: [below]

Arpeggio melody: Mutable Instruments Stages
Single high notes: Mutable Instruments Braids
Drums: Simmons SDS 8
Percussion: Folktek Matter
Bassline: Livewire AFG"

Mutable Instruments Stages - Easter Egg - Harmonic Oscillator - Quick Demo

"Patch notes for this quick demo:
CV: Koma Komplex Sequencer
Gates/Triggers: The first 3 inputs from the left are steady triggers from an ALM Pamela's Workout.
The last 3 inputs are from an Iron Ether Pithoprakta which has it's looping turned on and off to create random, then locked in patterns.

There's a bit of clipping in the video caused by me having the input to the camera turned up a touch too much. Div."

An Introduction to Self Patching René

Published on Dec 12, 2018 MAKEN0ISE

"With three CV and three Gate outputs, plus three CV and FOUR Gate INputs, René has much self-patching potential. This video scrapes the tip of the feedback iceberg."

SKULPT synth | An ambient soundscape saga "Raise & Shine" with Specular Tempus

Published on Dec 12, 2018 Funk Tree

"I created a distant ambient tale with almost no melody and Incoherent knob noodling with heavy reverb with Specular Tempus. Utilizing ALL 8 modulation slots of the SKULPT. Mostly for velocity and aftertouch to get the extra expression going
Enjoy with headphones! Scene arranged by my daughter with a few DUPLO lego cubes :)"

Analog filter audio input fun

Published on Dec 12, 2018 Tony Horgan

"This is an early preview clip from my forthcoming video series 'Analog Synthesis Made Easy'. Here, I show you how to use the audio input of an analog synth to filter a whole song or track, using the Korg Monologue. You can even play along! The track is called 'Everything Sounds Like Something' which is available from Bandcamp https://tonyhorgan.bandcamp.com"
