"This Yamaha DX200 Loop Factory is in nice condition. The data knob has been replaced, and is not the same color as the rest, but it still functions properly."

Patch #19 - Tjirpy Tjirps (putting my Orthogonal Devices ER-301 to the test)

Published on Jan 10, 2019 Nīrusu

"I’m a lucky man getting a Orthogonal Devices ER-301 just before Christmas!
I’ve been learning the crap out of this module and my oh my is it deep!
This video is the first I thought was snazzy enough to share.
Oh and...fitted in a very tight 4ms 60hp pod! (The pico output doesn’t actually fit mind you...just a placeholder for an ALM HPO if you’re wondering)

Patch notes:
- the patch on the er301 is an fm synth from Neil Parfitt’s er301 tutorial series.
- varigate is the master clock for the o_c which is in quartremains mode taking a sequence from 2 channels from the varigate and quantizing them to set scales. Output 2 is in a different division.

Utter joy hearing this come from this small collection of modules!"

Minimal Eurorack - Finding The Beat w/ Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas

Published on Jan 10, 2019 Nostalgic Ruckus

"You don’t have to have a ton of modules to get into eurorack. I wanted to see what I could do limiting to a Moog DFAM case (60HP). I set the cameras up hoping to capture something. Here is that moment everything came together. All sounds are coming from 2 modules. The Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas and Hexinverter's Mutant Bass Drum. The Mutant Bass Drum is providing the kick. They are being sequenced by the Mutable Instruments Grids and Animodule TiKTok."
