Make Noise QPAS // Quad Peak Animation System & Stereo Eurorack Filter

Published on Feb 19, 2019 DivKidVideo

"**TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS BELOW** So here's "the ultimate guide to QPAS" ... a mega tutorial, uber overview or any other silly name you'd like to title this with. Silliness aside, the QPAS has been great offering a lot of stereo filter tones with the quad filter cores and simple controls for a wide range of animation. The tone of the filter is hard to pin down as Tony of Make Noise designed the core (rather than cloning an old one) for the filter and the option to saturate the input VCA stage provides further tonal options. I hope this video is useful for currently QPAS owners, potential QPAS owners but more importantly I hope the video serves to demonstrate tchniques and provide ideas for any modules you own. I always try to make these useful for those with or without the module.

Noir Et Blanc Vie: Sorry Arturia Micro Freak - A NON-Review lol

"*Keep in mind what the word 'Subjection Opinion' means while watching this video, this will help triggered folk cope with what I'm about to say haha*

Since you all know companies don't run this channel, I do, which is why I say what I like. I know this video will be unpopular to the fanboys, but I could care less as I was actually looking forward to the MicroFreak, unfortunately I'm a little disappointed synths seem to be moving away from players who need the tactile traditional keybed for performances. Anyways, here are my thoughts, those who can't understand the meaning of the word subjective will dislike this video and comment I'm dumb, but that's what's fun about all this hahaahah"

How to "MOOG SCRATCH"

Published on Aug 13, 2009 t i m t s a n g // 円相 co.

"How does Moogist do his crazy awesome Moog Scratch sound?
Here are the 7 steps:

Step 1 - Turn on Oscillator 1. Use the 8' octave setting.
Step 2 - Select the sawtooth wave setting.
Step 3 - Add Oscillator 2 to the mix. Also use the 8' octave setting.
Step 4 - Add "1-2 SYNC" for more grit to the sound.
Step 5 - Add Oscillator 3 to the mix.
Step 6 - Turn on the "Glide" function to enable the smooth sliding sound.
Step 7 - Extend the "Attack" time (turn the knob to a greater value) of the "Filter Envelope" Section. This will enable the sound to not be attacked straight on but instead each note will have a sliding effect going into it before it reaches the actual pitch at the peak. (Make sure to set your "Mod Wheel Destination" to "Pitch")
