"In the last part of this series, we repaired the power supply & recapped this lovely Rhodes Chroma. Today I show you some of the upgrades I made to the Rhodes Chroma, and we have a listen to some of the many sounds the Chroma is capable of.

My usual disclaimer: none of the sample sounds played are intended to be musical, I am not demonstrating my musical ability (or total lack thereof), just showing some of the sounds the Chroma can make.

"Custom made by Mellotron for John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

This was serviced my Markus Reisch, who made this instrument, from Mellotron early 2019 at my studio.

This is serial number 003 and only a total of 8 of these were made in mohogany. Mellotron confirmed that is the only Mellotron ever made that has an amber light. The item will ship in 2 ATA cases for both Mellotron and the tape voices. Negotiable.

"A little jam in an abandoned limestone building at cala fredda (cold bay) in Levanzo. I couldn´t find any info about this buildings, but it´s one of the few landings on the island, so it was probably used as a warehouse for the fishermen there. Near this site there´s a shipreck probably dating back to 1st century b.c, with ancient vases (amphorae) which where probably use for wine transport or for garum storage, which was produced in this site at Punta Altarella ( little high point)"
