Modor Eurorack- Noisy Oscillator/Comb Filter first impression
Published on Jul 5, 2019 Dziam Bass
"Hi Guys.
Today was a little crazy day but I managed to record one small movie with new modules from Modor this is some spontaneous movie but like now this modules.
To Noisy Oscillator and Comb Filter (effects like chorus and flanger)
basically I was having a little fun with it but I decided that this small sequence is fine to even show some sound of these great modules.
These modules are single-ended sections from the famous Modor NF-1 polyphonic synthesizer.
basically it's the VCO section and the second section of the effects. it also has a Formant filter but it was not used in this movie."

"LEGO wheels provide nice fine tuning of the oscillators and give it a unique look. Feel free to customize however you want and integrate into a much larger modular setup!"

SE-02 & NuEVI - CV Breath Demo - Mark Steiner
Published on Jul 5, 2019 Mark Steiner
"CV to breath from the Berglund Instruments NuEVI to the Roland / Studio Electronics SE-02. Very smooth and delicate attacks and swells.
For info/wait list on the NuEVI (and the upcoming EWI/woodwind version of it called the NuRAD), email TheNuEVI@gmail.com.
Johan Berglund made the breakout box used here than can bring CV from the NuEVI through both of the unused pins from the midi port.
For this instrument, I find it's best to use CV just for filter (from breath), and midi for other aspects. Also, I found using hybrid breath is best (it's sending CV to filter and also the cf breath setting in the NuEVI to the filter as midi CC). Otherwise, it appears the CV input for the SE-02 requires more than usual CV amounts, and may have some other special situations in the circuit I'm not totally sure on. But this works great!
So... set NuEVI breath to "cf"
2nd breath CV to VCF CV input on the SE-02
Turn the filter cutoff on the SE-02 to zero.
Turn the contour on the SE-02 to zero.
Also good to use gate hold on the NuEVI, especially if you will be playing large intervals."

Update: Re-Published on Jul 7, 2019
Watch past the intro.
"After months of research, tests and preparation, I can finally announce my new video with OP-Z as the protagonist. Next to the great success of my previous video with the OP-1, this time I will squeeze the little boy from Teenage Engineering using the power of new Sampling features and the stunning DMX option, to realize a unique idea: the alphabet of lights to communicate with the upside-down. This is my tribute to Stranger Things and, above all, a tribute to all of you who support me through this channel.

I thank in advance anyone who will give me a little help with superchat donations"

Derezzed (Mile High Edit)
Published on Jul 5, 2019 Mark Mosher - Modulate This!
"This is a video from my 2013 archives. It's a cover version of 'Derezzed' by Daft Punk called 'Derezzed' (Mile High Edit)". My rig at the time was Ableton Live, Percussa AudioCubes, Moog Etherwave Theremin Plus, and Tenori-On sending MIDI notes to an Ableton Rack with VSTs. I used the Machine to control the arrangement in Ableton on-the-fly and to live sequencing the parts I wasn't playing live as well trigger clips in Live to automate changes in Resolume. The AudioCubes were used to trigger and control effects through gestures, as well as add 4 more dimensions of gestural control for effects for the Theremin. I used the Tenori-on to improvise a lead :^)
This video is actually a vehicle to illustrate show design concepts from my 2010-2015 Dark Sci-Fi Techno Show which was in support of some of my original sci-fi theme peformances. Check out a a much more detailed blog post that and info on the making of this video and track here http://markmoshermusic.com./2019/07/0...

The 'guitar chop' is the Virus put through a spring emulation in Logic Space Designer; occasional lead sound and bass are the Pro 2; DX-style 'piano' is the Volca. (Nice to have a proper FM synth at last :-)"
