"Oberheim OB12 up for grabs. Not many of these in a shape and functionality as this. Excellent synth with onboard sequencer that syncs to any midi clock for anything from single note melodies to lengthy chord progressions. Ideal instrument for the creative juncture in music production.

'Oberheim is back with their first analog-emulation professional synthesizer. This blue beauty is supposed to recreate and emulate the classic sounds and tone of the original Oberheim analog filters. The OB-12 is a 12 voice synth with 4-part physical modeling synthesis. Loads of real-time knobs (22), sliders (24), and buttons (33) with a traditional layout give you fast hands-on access and control of most parameters. Extra hands-on goodies include a ribbon controller, pitch bend and modulation wheel.'"

"After attempting to recreate the original track using only the OP-Z [posted here]

I thought I would have a bash at doing a remix. Turned out a bit Purple Disco Machine, but he's doing alright for himself.

Had to timestretch the samples in adobe audition to get the tempo right, but apart from that this has all been made on the OP-Z."

There some speculation about the different technologies and algorithms - this demo is purely looking at IF there are differences between them..

This isn't meant to be a fully fledged demo or review of the drum machines - just looking at if there are sonic differences and if so what are they.. :)
