"Just a little demo of Hartmann Neuron Synthesizer. Video was taken with a Nokia Digital Camera using 18x Zoom. Therefore the movie is very wiggly."

New Torso Hardware Sequencer by Torso Electronics

Published on Sep 10, 2018 torso electronics

via Torso Electronics

"Create percussive polyrhythmic sequences or explore endless melodic variations. T-1 is an algorithmic MIDI sequencer which offers vast set of creative composition tools

About T-1

We set out to design a machine that can go beyond the limitations of a traditional sequencer, while maintaining a simple and user-friendly interface with no menu diving.
Focusing on fluid live performance and the possibility to modulate every parameter with random sequences.

The T-1 brings a completely new methodology for sequencing and many new avenues for musical inspiration and creativity.
With 16 polyphonic tracks, 16 rhythmic and melodic parameters, random modulation features, and live performance tools, the T-1 brings new inspiring content for your music making.

Main features

Euclidian rhythms
The core of T-1 is based on the euclidian algorithm, which lets you generate and explore a vast variety of rhythmic patterns

Play together
Wirelessly connect to other devices with our integration of Ableton Link. This will make sure that T-1 is playing in time with your DAW and all Link supported apps

Randomize
We have added pseudo-random modulation to every parameter, for creating endless musical variations. The randomness can be locked into loops, giving you more control
‍Keypad display
The multicolor keypads is used as a display showing parameter values and the state of the device

Steady State Fate SSF Zero Point Oscillator ZPO // unique thru zero FM & AM + morphing and more!

Published on Dec 23, 2019 DivKidVideo

"Here we have the wonderful ZPO from SSF. It has a totally unique take on "thru zero" modulation that couples the frequency modulation with amplitude modulation. Enabling either the linear of exponential FM to go into the thru zero modulation also couples that modulation into the "zero point". The zero point offers level control in a bipolar fashion which can invert waves and provide ring modulation. Merging TZFM and TZAM alongside the other features such as sync, waveform morphing, 3 types of pulse width modulation, sub oscillators and some unique waveform outputs really elevates this as a powerful analogue oscillator.

Bodie

Published on Dec 23, 2019 CatSynth TV

"Experimental film with scenes from Bodie, California and original music.

Bodie is a former gold-mining town and State Historic Park in California’s Bodie Hills, near the Nevada border. Bodie became a boom town in 1876 after the discovery of a profitable line of gold; by 1879 it had a population of 5,000–7,000. The town went into decline in the subsequent decades and came to be described as a ghost town by 1915. The 19th-century ghost town still exists encompasses numerous original buildings in varying states of decay. It was officially was established as Bodie State Historic Park in 1962 and is registered as a California Historical Landmark. The films open to scenes of desolation in the town, only to reveal that it now again filled with people, now tourists instead of miners.

Original music by Amanda Chaudhary using the Grindhouse library for Kontakt, Arturia CMI V, Prophet VS, and Rhodes V virtual instruments; vintage Minimoog synthesizer, and Tracktion BioTek."

Emu sp1200 vs emax I

Published on Dec 23, 2019 deepeightyeight

"i always been curious to know the differences between the 2 samplers and so.... open filter on emax (28000 hz), channel 7 on sp1200 (26040 Hz), so pure clean no filter on both
aliasing is on sp1200. pretty clean the emax, u need to go down one octave to find aliasing, on sp1200 is just the next semitone up or down"

CIAT LONBARDE - Weird Sound Diary Jam #TTNM

Published on Dec 23, 2019 THE TUESDAY NIGHT MACHINES

"Here's a first jam session for my music diary with a bunch of Ciat Lonbarde gear I recently acquired.

♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support

Gear used:
- Ciat Lonbarde Sidrax Organ
- Ciat Lonbarde Cocoquantus
- Menq Qi / Ciat Lonbarde Rollz-5+

The Rollz-5 plays by itself and I patch the four drone synth voices in and out and later add some crazy chaos for a while.

The Sidrax Organ audio is fed into the Cocoquantus delays. Both instruments are patched together for some cross-modulation. By touching the unconnected banana plug, I modulate the chaos feature of the Sidrax Organ with cosmic energy from my JELLY_ASS, if you know what I mean."

Hohner Electronium - a vacuum tube synth from the 1950s

Published on Dec 23, 2019 HAINBACH

"In which I demonstrate one of the most beautiful instruments I ever had the pleasure of playing, the Hohner Electronium. Made by Hohner in the 1950s, this vacuum tube synth in Akkordeon form packs a deep bass and a rather poetic midrange. The German avantgarde of the time quickly discovered it, Stockhausen used the Model Pi (piano version), and Harald Boje played a modified version. You can hear it in Stockhausen's Telemusik and certain versions of Spiral.

Thanks to Jeremiah Runnels for this amazing gift!"
