"The Pro/DGX is a thirty preset monophonic analog synth with digital controls. The 37-note keybed has aftertouch for volume, brilliance, vibrato, wow, growl, and bend effects - and even all at once if you desire! A few basic filter, envelope and LFO controls allow some tweaking of the preset sounds.

Get your classic Tony Banks sounds with this unique Arp - no other synth sounds quite like it.

This unit has been carefully gone over to ensure that it is fully functional. It has some wear for an instrument of this age, but is in overall excellent condition. Power cord included."

Kiwisix Korg PolySix Analog Polyphonic Synth SN 465047

"Vintage Korg Polysix with Kiwisix power supply replacement, Kiwisix PCB/MIDI firmware upgrade, Synthgraphics Kiwisix control panel decal, brand new replacement key contacts from LA Synth Co, new push switches, and a Tubbutec "Polysex" OSC mod (using original Polysix knobs to match). Included are the original manual, original patchbook, and an original Korg product advertisement from the 80s.

All of these improvements effectively create the modern Polysix we'd all love to see from Korg. Check out the embedded video to see how the Polysex adds a completely new dynamic to the trusty Polysix. The keys on this unit really do feel nice after the contact upgrade and the switch replacements go a long way for ease of use. No more dropped notes or button presses!"

Sonic LAB Earthquaker Devices Afterneath

Published on Mar 5, 2020 sonicstate

"Also available in pedal form, Earthquaker Devices Afterneath is a complex and unusual reverb processor described as:

A wizard bursting forth from ethereal cave and ready for the ambient battle. You are the wizard – or sorceress, if you prefer – and the cave is your instrument’s signal, vast, expansive, and magical. Do you go inside?

And in many ways its an accurate description of this unusual device, although more accurately it could be described as a digital reverb made up from a bunch of delay lines.

Certainly it can and does sound other worldly, with some great ambient and textural sounds as well as more regular reverb and delays."

Mattel Synsonics Bunduru Part 1

"I bought a mint condition Synsonics Drums for £30. This left me with me with the 'spare repair' one I bought a year ago which I thought would make a great project to see if it could be incorporated into a an acoustic drum kit!

I use a Time electronics Model 8000 Decade Resistor box to help set the correct value resistor to select the sensitivity of triggering Synsonics from the rim of the TOM."

Radiator Video Projection (abstract visualizer)

Published on Mar 4, 2020 Neon Captain

"I want to showcase a Radiator feature that we haven't talked about much.

The Radiator supports laser projection directly from the built in db25 and the Ether Dream DAC (via the rj45).

The Radiator simultaneously supports video output from the built in HDMI interface and a custom render engine we've created called "Laser Raster".

This video is entirely video projection through a Casio DLP projector (yes, *that* Casio projector) and then filmed with an iPhone 8. No lasers were used in this video.

The Radiator with video projector can be used for safe and legal audience scanning."
