New Synthetic Sound Labs in Conjunction with Division-6 Buchla Format 3650 Digital Sequencer
"Synthetic Sound Labs has just released its new 3650 Digital Sequencer module – SSL’s first venture into the popular Buchla 200e format – and is in close collaboration with the folks at Division-6.
Simple operation and straightforward functions make the 3650 easy to learn, and the concise panel graphics avoid menu-diving syndrome.
The 3650 has 5 song memories to string up to 16 sequences together, and 7 sequence memories with up to 16 steps per sequence.Sequences of up to 16 steps are easily programmed using the built-in keyboard and octave switches, covering a range of 5 octaves. A separate Accent output pulse is available which can be selected for each of the steps, allowing triggering of other sequencers, envelopes, etc.
Sequences can be set to any length up to 16 steps by using LOOP feature. Setting a step using the REST button, holds previous pitch and doesn’t fire PULSE out, while setting a step to SLUR, changes to the new CV and doesn’t fire the PULSE out.
The keyboard can be used to “Live” transpose a running sequence, or as a tiny CV keyboard while in Standby mode without altering the programmed sequence.
The 3650 has a convenient internal clock, but external clocks are recommended to allow the greatest timing flexibility.
The ACC (ACCessory / ACCent) output can be programmed into each step and has 3 operating modes. The ACC output can also be used to output the internal clock, but not at the same time.
The Pulse Output has 16 different width timing options, including 3 different ratchets.
The Start Input resets the sequencer to step #1. It also puts it in run mode if it is not already. The End Output sends a gate pulse when a running sequence drops off the end (goes past 16 or hits a LOOP step). The Start Input and End Output can work together to allow easy cascading of two or more 3650s.
The SSL 3650 is an easy to use sequencer with powerful features not available in many other modules of it’s kind.
SSL uses quality fiberglass-epoxy printed circuit boards, precision automated robotics and meticulous hand-crafted assembly assure years of trouble-free service.
Synthetic Sound Labs has been in the analog synthesizer business since 1973. The 3650 is yet another in SSL’s growing line of new synthesizer modules. Proudly made in the USA.
Pricing is $495 US and available exclusively through NoiseBug, Pomona, CA."

Death By Audio Rooms Stereo Reverb Jam with Elektron Digitone
Perfect Circuit
"The Death By Audio Rooms reverb pedal is a stereo effect with six different algorithms. It will get dirty and distorted if you push the output levels, or you can keep them lower and get cleaner sounds. The Rooms is great for producing textures and ambiences. Another feature we liked on the Rooms was the alt switch which switches the settings between the main knobs and another smaller set of knobs.

Roland ROM card patchbox used with a Roland U110 - TEST1
circuitbenders.co.uk
"It turns out our Roland R8/R8M audio grinding patchbox with the fake ROM card interface works on the U110 as well, and by extension probably anything else that uses the same style ROM cards.
We have another video of it used with a U220 [posted here]
No, its not meant to be musical, its just some random notes looping in a quick test to see what the box could do.

No talking demo of DSI/Sequential OB-6 part 1 of 2. Sounds & video editing by Jexus-WC Olo Garb. I did not use additional FX in the demo, all the delays and reverbs and flangers are part of the OB-6 engine."

Sequential Rev 2 Synthesizer Demo
Pure Ambient Drone
"The Prophet Rev2 is Dave Smith’s re-imagining of his Prophet ’08 poly synthesizer. As Dave Smith puts it, “The Prophet Rev2 is the realization of our effort to enhance and improve everything we could about the original design — all at a more accessible price.” The Prophet Rev2 retains all of the key features of the Prophet ’08 and expands on them.
The Prophet Rev2 gets its bold, punchy sound from its 2/4 pole, low-pass, resonant Curtis filters per voice. These are the same filters used not only in the Prophet ’08, but in many classic instruments of the 70’s and 80’s. A separate Audio Mod control adds additional harmonic complexity and movement."
Polyend Tracker Sessions #1: "MLT - Kiwi" (feat. Medusa and Tetra)
Miltos Schimatariotis
"Taking a break from the Medusa tutorials since Tracker arrived last week! This track started while experimenting with the various features of the Tracker but ended up finished and I even gave it a name: "Kiwi" 😊. One thing that I found impressive with the Tracker is that once you understand the workflow the creation process is really fast ..and fun!
Everything you hear in the video is programmed in the Tracker except the Medusa that I play live. The whole performance was recorded live in Cubase where I did the mastering for the released track. So no exports or stems and without a regular mixing process.
I would say that, in this case, the "trick" to get a good sound without 'regular mixing' is to pay some attention to your samples, one-shots, and of course your arrangement. But the nice thing with the 8 tracks of the Tracker is that it makes you be more 'resourceful' about your arrangement so it is quite difficult to overload your patterns.
Let me know what you think and if you would like to see a track walkthrough in a next video. Thanks for watching!
If you would like to support me, I have the track also available at:
