Sequential Pro 3 Review by Pure Ambient Drone

Review added to this post.

Compressed Studios EP. 1 Pocket Operator Modular & 0-Coast Small Studio

Perfect Circuit

"Our new series Compressed Studios explores small setups that are designed for small spaces and easy portability. This first setup is built around sequenced and arpeggiated synth lines with some percussion added by Pocket Operators. The Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator Modular 170 is the heart of the system, its sequencer is not only sequencing the synth voice in the 170, but also the 0-Coast and providing a clock for the Pocket Operators.

The 170 has a traditional synth voice, so we decided to use the Make Noise 0-Coast for the second voice since it has a little bit of a different sound. The PO-12 Rhythm provides a solid set of drum sounds and the PO-24 Office adds more percussion options. Lastly the PO-33 K.O. adds sampling to this setup, you could easily sample the two synths or even record a vocal sample into the built in microphone."

D!C.A - Boutique's, SH-01A / TB-03 / TR-09 - KORG NTS-1 - Tascam DP-004

Micro Banshee

"The TB-03 and TR-09 are both utilising track write and play mode with the drums and bass programmed for the track duration. The SH-01A is playing two accompanying sequence's during the track - with FX from the Korg NTS-1 and recorded direct into a Tascam DP-004 recorder.

As always, the track is played 'live' in one take - with no DAW, editing or post production."

Let's Play with Phosphor 3 & BLEASS Chorus

Tim Webb

"Phosphor 3 is an additive synth with FM elements, allowing for a vast variety of sounds! In this video I use it to create a richly textured patch to run into the new BLEASS Chorus!

Squaver P1+, Modular A1 and the Moog Mooger Foogers

Sonicsmith

"Maxime Graff shows how the Squaver P1+ and the Modulor A1 can interact with the Mooger Fooger pedals via CV patches. Moog pedals use 0V - 5V so some attenuation is needed but they are all 1V per octave and tracking is great so it's easy to stay in tune."
