"Extremely rare monosynth.
Made by Moog for Baldwin in 73. Numbers only in the hundreds. This one is complete aside from a vouple of slider caps. The sliders are all free and the three way push buttons all work perfectly. Has been on a shelf in the shed for over 30 years. Doesn't power on. I am no tech, in fact totally low tech so couldn't say what the isdue might be but I can find nothing obvious and visually the internals look good. Suspect it to be fairly simple fix for those inclined. Was working perfectly when put away in about 1984."

Almost makes me want to create a synth feet label. Almost...

"Korg Mono/Poly Synth with built in ModyPoly (MIDI), & Walnut Sides

Listing as Mint because only some wear to KORG logo on the back panel is apparent as well as small half inch scratch on volume knob; the Walnut sides are better than factory.

Serviced by Analog Synth Service (Greg M) in early 2020 and ready for studio use. All functions work, and tuning is stable after warm up.

This is so nice I would not gig with it: truly collector grade a 10/10.

Granular synthesis walkthrough : Qun synthesizer

Nunomo LLC

"Granular synthesis module walkthrough for Qun synthesizer.

I used Ableton Live for the last part of the demo (from 8:15). Drum and effects are applied.
This time I recorded random percussive noise as a sample, but if you use more musical samples, then the result will be totally different. See my other short videos.

Other things I missed to mention in the video:
- In one shot mode, if you play note slur(play next note before you release the first one), then the sound won't be retriggered. This is useful when you record a loop sound.
- Glide parameter works well with Granular module. You can make an effect like vinyl scratching."

Walking the water's edge // SH-01A

Stefano Mattia

"Download on Bandcamp:

I recently went on a weekend trip to the beautiful Riviera Romagnola in Italy. Brought my camera with me and shot some videos. I liked what I got, and decided to make a track to go along with some of the clips. This is what I came out with.

I used my Roland SH-01A for all synth sounds: the big brassy patch at the beginning, the deep, powerful bass, the modulated trumpet-like sound, the electric piano-ish patch (love that one, I added a bit of saturation for that classic distorted vintage electric piano sound), the floating bells, the pads. The rest are Logic's drum samples and some ukulele sounds I found in Logic's library.
I really like blending acoustic sounds with pure electronic ones, it's like grass growing through the cracks of a concrete sidewalk.

All footage was shot with my trusty Sony RX1, and edited in Davinci Resolve (first time using this editor, I have no idea what I'm doing...).

Enjoy!"

"The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
KORG Gadget cover by POGPALE

The original song was beautiful and the music video, directed by Michel Gondry, was really beautiful.
So I paid tribute to them with KORG Gadget and my toy trains lol.
Thanks for watching and please enjoy this."
