"I bought this unit only recently to integrate with my Moog semi-modular setup, mostly as an additional voice to integrate with Mother 32. Its a fantastic box all by itself, and honestly i think it is probably superior to the Mother in many ways (i like the flexibility of the voice way more than the Moog, esp its FM capabilities) but i am finding it mostly overlaps too much with other things i already have.
*again, 1 detail about this unit worth flagging is that the right wood side panel is a bit wiggly. Apparently, this is a common problem with these boxes, and can be fixed, but i haven't had it long enough to bother. It is not an issue if its just sitting on a desktop, in which case it is rock-solid and unnoticeable. Just FYI."

"The Soulsby Atmegatron is a synth I have woefully neglected as of late, so in an attempt to reignite my enjoyment of this little 8-bit friend, I flashed it with an alternative firmware transforming it into the Odytron.
The Odytron is a true 8-bit emulation of the iconic ARP Odyssey... which sounds like an idea that bridges madness and genius! In this video we take a relaxed sonic stroll through the synth's features and go on to build a few patches to see if it captures the soul of its analogue inspiration within its 8-bit digital heart!
