Beats evolved through Digitakt

itijik

WARNING: Watch your volume levels at the start of this one.

"Digitakt is a looping beast. Just build a beat, copy the pattern, mangle the sounds...repeat. I went through 4 versions of the same beat letting it evolve into what you hear.

00:00 Time fabric loop
00:07 Begin
00:58 Cruising the glitch fields
01:38 Searching for alternate dimensions
02:20 This one seems cozy
06:36 Hacking dimensional firewall
07:46 Low frequency modulation attack
08:14 Access Granted
09:01 Scan for punks
10:00 Reboot
10:36 Progress Bar
10:56 Recovering the hack
11:45 Decoding time crypt
12:49 New thread
13:55 Target locked
14:03 Dimension unstable, shutting down.

Samples used include selections from Comakid's new pack, Dusty Guitar Shots. The drums/percs are taken from the itijik NOX drum series, and a quick bass was recorded in direct from the moog lp.

All itijik Collective members will get a selection of samples from each pack our squad makes, royalty free, for their own projects! I've already posted download links for the original samples used on the discord server, so be sure to join up if you haven't already. https://itijik.com/join/collective"

Introducing RUNNING ORDER: 6hp 2-channel trigger sequencer by Endorphine.es

TheEndorphines

"Running Order is two tracks trigger generator: it can be a precise master clock or manipulate with incoming clock and works great in use as a sub-sequencer/divider in your eurorack environment

• 6 HP width, 30 mm depth (with plugged ribbon cable), power requirements: +12V: 30mA, -12V: 10 mA

• Zero-jitter clock generation: less than 50 microseconds internal clock jitter

• 101 style 1/16th note input mode (step/rest) with manual or CV controllable amount of triggers repeats when the active trigger step happens

• Euclidean mode enabled for each tracks where we set Euclidean total steps amount in the circle and then amount of triggers happening in that circle,

• Separate synchronization (reset) inputs, sync for track 1 is normalled to sync track 2

• clock divider for incoming external clock allows to quickly obtain various musical divisions on the fly incl. triplets of course but more importantly tuplets mode allows to stretch desired amount of triggers happening into a single bar

• separate mute buttons for each track

• 8 patterns of triggers sequences stored in the module and recalled on the next power on"

"John Bowen Solaris Synthesizer - Serial Number 122 - Built 2013

Beautiful, mint, almost brand new condition John Bowen Solaris in white finish. No scratches anywhere. Looks, works and sounds like new.

Has non-detented pots, but they work smoothly with no glitching or jumping. Volume knob has a very slight wobble that John Bowen himself confirmed is normal on some units manufactured during this time. There is no issue, no crackling or noise. Works perfectly.

Includes, power brick with US power cord, CF Card, USB CF card reader, printed owner's manual and original shipping documentation. Ships in original box and packing foam inserts, which will be supplemented with bubble wrap as needed."

Note the red gig bag has Nord Lead 2, Nord Lead 3, and Electro printed on it, so it's a later case.

The Nord Lead was the first virtual analog synth to be released and imo it's still great. It has plenty of character. It also came with Prophet-5 presets that sound surprisingly close to the original, some dead on.

About the Course
Tired of presets? Need more complex and interesting-sounding patches in your productions? Or maybe you want to be able to figure out the sounds from other artists' tracks? Whether you're a producer looking to level up your sound design chops or just want to have some fun diving down a synth-fueled rabbit hole, this course is designed to help you craft better synth sounds.

Throughout this course, we’ll look at popular synths, sounds, and post-processing techniques to help you develop strategies for creating better sounds from the ground up. From epic house leads to snarling dubstep basses and vintage '80s keyboard sounds, we’ll show you how to create patches step by step. Along the way, we’ll explain concepts related to subtractive synthesis, wavetable synthesis, FM synthesis, and sampling. In the end, you'll have a better idea of what type of synth to reach for in a particular situation, understand the ins and outs of creating patches, how to program better parts, and make better sounds than you ever thought you could.
