Model:Samples Live Performance
Patchwerks Seattle
Model:Samples at Patchwerks
"In this video resident expert Hannah (VÄN) from Patchwerks performs for us on the Elektron Model:Samples. Model:Samples is Hannah's go to drum machine and sampler player. With it's knob per function layout it's a breeze for her to perform with.
Packed with great sounds!
The sound engine uses high-quality digital samples. There are 300 preset sounds supplied by Splice, ranging from the familiar kicks, snares, and hi-hats to exotic, never-before-heard ones. With a few tweaks, you can easily personalize any sample until it sounds just the way you want it. Transfer your own samples into it, or use any of the expertly crafted custom sound packs.
Dedicated knobs!
As an Elektron first, this machine offers a complete set of tactile controls, with one function per knob. They’re all right there on the front panel; just grab a knob and twist it. Unleash your music spontaneously using the six tough, velocity-sensitive pads. Record your every move live, or punch in your creation one step at a time using the superb Elektron sequencer.
Ready to go!
At under one kilogram, you’re getting the benefits of a light and convenient machine that will surprise you with its snarling sonic power.
Key Features:
- Control All lets you twist your sounds to oblivion. Then use Reload to take you back to where you started
- Use Parameter Locks to automate parameters. Each step can have a totally different sound
- Load six samples at once – just like a kit. Great when you have made a - ---- Pattern with Parameter Locks, LFOs etc… Load six new samples to instantly experiment and come up with unique and unexpected results
- Write basslines and melodies using Chromatic Mode
- New Chance parameter. Chance determines the possibility whether the sequencer steps on a track are triggered or not. Combining Chance with the - Control All functionality can lead to many interesting results and happy accidents
- Record sequences with or without quantization. Steps can be micro-timed with individual Swing control per track
- Individual Step Length per track
- Individual Tempo Multiplier per track
- Class compliant USB audio 2.0

MONOME Norns/fates + ARC + 16n Faderbank: Study 001
Allinaire
"Monome Norns/Fates controlled by ARC & 16n Faderbank. Performed Live.
ARC controls 4 virtual 'Tape' heads in Fates ASH app. The ARC controls position, speed, direction & pitch in very high resolution increments.
The 16n Faderbank is midi mapped to the parameters in ASH to control the number of grains, grain size, grain spread for each tape head and a master reverb.
All sounds and loops from Fates - no external effects or processing. The output is recoded back into Fates via the Record App running simultaneously.
The 4 loops were made prior on other fates apps and recorded via Fates then loaded into ASH."

'Ask your doctor if Imitor Versio is right for you.'"
345.00 - see the dealers on the right for availability.
"Imitor Versio is a delay designed for experimentation. With 12 delay taps and a slew of parameters designed to make the delay perform in unfathomable ways, IV is perfect for creating unusual echoes, experimenting with different delay shapes and patterns, adding vintage flare to an atmosphere, and more.
Ask your doctor if Imitor Versio is right for you.
A note to our international friends: shipping from the US to other countries remains unpredictable. We ship anywhere, but consider supporting a local retailer if you have concerns (or even if you don’t!)."
The Bat Verb | Part 05 | Imitor Versio firmware
Cinematic Laboratory
"Noise Engineering has just released a new firmware for the Desmodus Versio, the 'versatile imitator'. It's a twelve tap delay with tempo sync, delay timing skew, circular stereo panning, distortion, tralis that rise and fall, shimmer and harmonically related pitch shifting. POB has done an excellent walkthrough on all features (see link in video), so I'll just focus on how it sounds in various patches. the IV is also available as a dedicated module with its own faceplate, and faceplates can be ordered for your DV if you're planning on permanent use.
Please note the IV is a delay that's designed to be discovered so make sure to spend some time with it. I noticed it features a lot of sonic textures which are also found on some of the best delays around. So this one may be the droid you've been looking for in just 10 HP. Highly recommended!"
