"This is a first edition Manta with Amber LEDs only. Serial no 23.
It is a touch sensitive controller interface requiring a computer or MantaMate accessory to turn capacitive touches into midi, OSC, or CV information.
You can get super geeky with it in MaxMSP or SuperCollider, use a free third-party program like MantaJUCE to get MIDI to your program of choice, or get a MantaMate to convert your touches to CV signals."
You can find some demos of one in previous posts here.

Knobotron - Tactile UV Reactive Knob Rings on MAKE NOISE 0-CTRL
via @knobotron
"Knobotron on @makenoisemusic 0-CTRL looks like an amazing work of art! #modularsynth #synthesizer #eurorack #eurorackmodular #knobs #3dprinting"
Works on other gear as well.
via Knobotron:
"Colored knob upgrade rings with a tactile pointer indicating the current position and allowing comfortable single finger tweaking. The knobs are fluorescent and UV reactive, generating an intense glow under black light.
Knobotron comes in packs assembled for specific synths, half the knobs in neon green and half in neon orange. A couple of extra rings are always added in so that you have more freedom to arrange your patterns.
Yamaha CS-80 Synthesizer Sound Selection Circuit Analysis
video by Bell Tone Synth Works
"I had the idea to do some videos breaking down how specific circuits or sections from different vintage synths work in step-by-step detail, and here's my first one, about how preset, memory, and panel sound selection works in the notorious/legendary Yamaha CS-80.
This video is meant to be more 'educational' than 'fun' and if you personally don't think it's fun (or musical) enough, that's OK!
It also requires at least a basic understanding of a few key electronics theory concepts to follow.
If you'd like to read a written version of this explanation and look at the diagrams/schematics in more detail, you can find it on our blog here: http://www.belltonesynthworks.com/202..."

Moog Subharmonicon Tutorial. Part 3. Fine Tuning in Cents. Pulse Width Manual Control.
video by Anton Anru
"This episode is devoted to classical Moog timbers that are played with a keyboard. We all know (and love) THAT moogish 3osc sound, and we can get it with Subharmonicon. And even more, as it has 6 oscillators. However, there's no Pulse Width and Fine Tune knobs, that help to make the sound phatter and more diverse. In this video I'm showing how to break this limit and create massive Moog leads, basses, and plucks.

Voltage Modular | VM2500 Collection - ARP 2500 Modules in Software by Cherry Audio
video by Cherry Audio
https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/vm2500-collection
"Cherry Audio and MRB have collaborated to deliver the unique module features, stunning sound quality, and overall user experience of the rare and classic ARP 2500 synthesizer to the Voltage Modular platform. Every module produced for the original 2500 system has been recreated in perfect detail, including a couple that were planned but never produced (including a full-function oscilloscope and a spring reverb) and a mixer module that never existed, but should have! We’ve eliminated the matrix-switch I/O scheme and replaced all connections with standard CV jacks, and added bi-polar CV attenuators to all modulation inputs for full compatibility with all Voltage Modular modules. But most importantly, the tremendous analog sound and unique features of the original modules have been retained in their entirety, with a few small tweaks to improve the practicality of these 50-year-old designs. The recreation of the 2500 modules was a team effort, combining Cherry Audio’s extensive design experience with award-winning synth designer Mark Barton’s (MRB) DSP coding sorcery. The result is a virtual time machine of fat, impactful early electronic music history for the ears!
