Roland's best-selling product at the time was this SH series!

The biggest feature of this model is that 2VCO can be used as polyphonic!

The same goes for the ARP ODYSSEY, and it was a valuable synthesizer that could play chords!

The waveform is larger and the range is wider than the SH-5, NOISE also has built-in pink and white, and is also equipped with a ring modulator and SAMPLE & HOLD!

ENV also has 2 ADSR systems, and the filters are high-pass and low-pass, making it possible to create detailed sounds!

The slightly sloping panel design is the most sophisticated layout in the SH series, making it easy to create sounds while being complicated!

Equipped with CV / GATE IN / OUT on the back, it can be connected to other models!

Almost thought this was an oddball Clavia Nord prototype when I first saw the image minus what it was. Obviously a custom painted red Novation X-Station. Almost looks like somone messed a Nord Lead with a Korg Radias.

"In this demo we take a look at a classic analogue synth from 1982... The Roland Juno 6, a rich sounding, yet basic synth.. a very modest single oscillator one may agree. 6-note polyphony, no MIDI, no USB (well.. it IS from 1982!), no saving of sounds.. you're lucky you get 61 keys with it! ..however, there is an External Clock-input... which provides the on-board 'Arpeggiator' with a single note 'trigger' from an external device such as the Roland TR-808 or TR-909... or, alternatively.. something more modern like a MultiClock from E-RM.

First half of this demo is a virtual 'walk-thru' of the features.. or 'view-torial' if you prefer?! ...then the 2nd half is some 'noodling' around with the Valhalla Shimmer Reverb for added 'drama'.. which gives the Juno 6 a very 'Blade Runner' esque... frothy sound and feel."
