"Tom Oberheim SEM patch panel. THIS is the version for full integration into modular systems: extensive patchbay allows CV/gate control as well as output of a wide array of the SEM's controls. No MIDI! Features additional patch points not available in the SEM pro version.

Earlier version with better quality knobs: later models with the Marion Corp logo ("M") on top don't have the classic Oberheim dials anymore.

Technically fully functional. Very good cosmetic condition. Some marks and light scratches, particularly on edges and back & front panels.

Comes with original box & switchable PSU 110-240V, EU plug."

Dynacord ADD-One : Advanced Digital Drum Synthesizer sound demo

video upload by Cro w

"Audio is direct out from the ADD-One into the interface.
The lagging of audio in the first half is what happens when using the internal sequencer AND tweaking parameters at the same time (remember this is mid-80's CPU power ha). When sequenced/triggered externally (as demonstrated in the second half), there is no lagging of course.
The ADD-One is a real beast of an electronic percussion instrument. It's a thick and rather high-end sound that is interestingly vintage yet modern at once. It doesn't sound 'period' or dated like other classic drum synthesizers and samplers of the 1980's, and gets avant-garde and experimental easily, if your into that. If not, you're really gonna hate the bulk of the video... haha
Enjoy."

THE NEW VINTAGE: Roland JX-08 / JU-06A / JP-08

video upload by Alba Ecstasy

"#Ambient #Patches for the Roland Boutiques πŸ‘‰https://www.albaecstasy.ro
The #RolandJX08 is playing two sequences (part A&B), Roland JU-06A one sequence line and the JP-08 is bringing the lead to the table!
All recorded via USB AUDIO.
Only using Arturia Intensity as reverb for the JP-08 and Waves H-Delay as stereo delay for JU-06A. The JX-08 runs on its own internal effects.

❤️, ae

My conclusions after one week of tweaking the Roland JX-08:
Underestimated because of their size - and for a good reason - anyone who has been open minded enough to the Boutique concept (not me at that time!), soon after they put their hands on such a replica, discover that Roland Boutique sounds huge!

I had my doubts and I even have laughed when the first Boutiques were released.
I tried all the synths formats for the last 20+ years, and let me tell you that small synths does not have a place in my operating theatre! All the time I tend to ignore them, and they're just decorating my studio. Now I own most of the Boutiques and I'm looking to grow my collection (especially with the "collectible" ones!)!

The extended polyphony makes the difference!
Not saying about the two sequencer lines for both parts, the arpeggiator, 3 types of filter, plenty of nice effects and other extras!

Small? Yes! Capable? Very yes!"

BLEASS Omega Synthesizer - User-Friendly FM Synthesis

video upload by BLEASS

"If you think FM Synthesis is complicated, it’s time to think again!

BLEASS Omega places all of the sparkle, character, nuance and dynamic expressiveness of FM Synthesis at your fingertips, and does away with the arcane programming interfaces so often associated with FM. Harnessing BLEASS’ signature GUI technology, creating and crafting sounds in Omega is not just easier than with other FM synths, it’s easy – PERIOD!

All of the classic capabilities of FM Synthesis are available in BLEASS Omega – expressive electric pianos, deep thundering basses, crystal-clear pads, sparkling bells, and soulful leads. And thanks to the instrument’s analogue-style Waveshaper and multi-mode Filter, BLEASS Omega can inject powerful analogue-like flavour into those pure FM tones, giving searing filter sweeps, growling distortions, and harmonically-rich resonances.

The four FM operators that sit at the heart of BLEASS Omega are edited simultaneously from within a single screen, with all operator envelopes and controls available to the touch of your finger. This amazingly user-friendly approach makes light work of sound editing, and encourages experimentation and exploration in a way no other FM synth can achieve.

With eleven FM algorithms on offer, each providing a different way of interconnecting the four operators for radically different results, the sonic scope of BLEASS Omega is vast. The included library of over 200 professionally designed presets makes full use of this versatility, furnishing you with a varied and inspirational sound palette to use in your music making and sound design projects.

BLEASS Omega fits in with your workflow and studio setup, no matter how you like to create. The iOS edition provides both standalone and AUv3 versions for use on iPad and iPhone, whilst the desktop edition for Windows and macOS comes as a VST3/AU plugin instrument, compatible with all major DAWs."

Vermona PerFourMer MkII - Stealth Black Edition

video upload by Richard DeHove

"Even with your favorite synth there's got to be something to gripe about. With the Vermona PerFourMer MkII I couldn't get over the brown knobs, so I replaced all 75 with black knobs. Since the Vermona already has a beautiful black faceplate that means it's now the 'stealth edition'. And any 'stealth edition' synth obviously sounds different from a standard issue machine! So here it is grinding and howling along with guest spots from a Zen delay :)

0:00 Moaning about knobs
1:25 Raw sound
2:10 Patch explained
3:20 Drone mode
4:18 Dirty jam
5:00 With Zen delay
5:30 Added Zen overdrive
6:50 Raw sound - no FX

Roland FANTOM 3.0 - n/zyme Model Expansion w/ Wavetable Synthesis

video upload by gattobus

"Roland announces the n/zyme Model Expansion for the FANTOM synthesizer series.
n/zyme is a thoroughly modern instrument with an innovative new synth engine. Featuring wavetable oscillators, wave drawing tools, phase and shape modulation, resonant filters, and two powerful step LFOs, n/zyme is a sound designer's dream, an incredible tool for sound exploration, making FANTOM the most powerful hardware synthesizer on earth. I had the incredible honour to be involved in its development programming some of the factory patches. This video that I created will give you some hints about the huge possibilities that FANTOM can offer, using multiple instances of the n/zyme engine simultaneously. Everything you hear in this video was played in real time, no overdubs! n/zyme is available via a Lifetime Key purchase through Roland Cloud. Support for n/zyme is included with the free Version 3.0 update for the FANTOM 6, FANTOM 7, and FANTOM 8 keyboards."

And the press release:

"Innovative New Synthesizer Engine Brings Fresh Creative Power to FANTOM Keyboards

Los Angeles, CA, January 20, 2022 — Roland announces the n/zyme Model Expansion for the FANTOM synthesizer series, the latest addition to the acclaimed ZEN-Core Model Expansion lineup. Built for hands-on sound design, n/zyme is a thoroughly modern instrument with an innovative new synth engine from Roland. Offering layered wavetable oscillators, phase and shape modulation, resonant filters, and two powerful step LFOs, n/zyme is a highly interactive music tool that brings a new dimension of creative power to all FANTOM owners.

Wavetable-based synths are famous for their distinctive sound, but many can be hard to program. FANTOM’s hi-res touchscreen and physical controls change all that, making n/zyme a fun, tactile instrument that inspires players to take their music into uncharted sonic territory. In contrast with basic synthesizer waveforms, wavetable oscillators employ multiple waveforms, and it’s possible to jump or morph between them for everything from dramatic shifts to slowly evolving soundscapes. With the ability to mix two layers with 63 wavetables each and adjust their positions in real time, n/zyme makes it easy for creators to develop complex textures in the heat of the moment.

Players can physically shape the sound of n/zyme by drawing custom waveforms right on FANTOM’s touchscreen, and then tweak them using a range of powerful modulation tools. It’s also possible to manipulate sounds with an X/Y pad on the touchscreen, complete with automation support and tempo-synced control over speed, intensity, and more.

Two onboard Step LFOs feature 16 tempo-synced steps and 37 different shapes per step. There’s also a Step Kick Switch to add percussive attack for deeply rhythmic sounds and phrases. Going further, users can process n/zyme’s futuristic oscillators with FANTOM’s eight onboard filter types, including detailed models of vintage analog designs.

With FANTOM’s massive DSP power, players can layer multiple n/zymes for ultra-deep tones with sophisticated movement. It’s also possible to mix n/zyme with classic Roland synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and vocoders to craft sounds never heard before.

n/zyme is the latest in a growing lineup of Model Expansions for ZEN-Core instruments and is available via a Lifetime Key purchase through Roland Cloud. Support for n/zyme is included with the free Version 3.0 update for the FANTOM 6, FANTOM 7, and FANTOM 8 keyboards.

Availability & Pricing

The Roland n/zyme Model Expansion for the FANTOM synthesizer series is available now as a Lifetime Key for $149 through Roland Cloud."

video upload by NOISEBUG

"This feedback patch on the Elby Design Paperface Serge was made to create ever changing sci-fi robot sounds.

In the past, we offered these preconfigured 4mm banana format Elby systems. Now we have all the individual moduals availble for anyone wanting to build their own system.

The great thing about the EuroSerge format is that
You can build your own banana format system into
A preexisting eurorack case that you may have lying around.
