"Selling this beloved Yamaha CS-50. Lid is included with this purchase (not in the photos)
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA.
This unit is in fair shape for its age and sounds incredible! Overall the synth works properly and does have some minor issue that could easily be fixed by a repair tech. A ding on the left control panel is present but does not effect the play-ability of the unit.
Issue #1 - When the portamento slider is moved at a quick rate the synth can sometimes default to a mono state and only one note will trigger. A quick restart can put the synth back in its normal operation.
Issue #2 - Tuning pot is a bit wobbly at times when the potentiometer is turned in its full range.
Issue #3 - Synth has hole drilled in the front panel for a Kenton Midi kit that never got installed. (does not come with the Kenton Midi kit)
Other than that, the synthesizer sounds amazing and works well besides the "issues" stated above.
If you have any further questions please feel free to send us a message."

Vintage Emu Analog Modular Synthesizer for Sale

via this auction
This appears to be the one in the video posted here.
"I bought this amazing instrument from Emu in 1976. It is still 100% original, with the exception of the keyboard cable, which was recently replaced. This Emu has been lovingly coddled over the years, although in its day it was pretty active, being employed in quite a few recording sessions with artists such as:
Billy Joel
Smokey Robinson
Harry Nilsson
Carpenters
Seals and Crofts
Johnny Nash
'and many more…'
But, alas, it is now time to sell it."

Dynamic Processing Techniques for Eurorack // Dannysound Dynamics & VU Meters
video upload by DivKidVideo
"Here we have the character oozing ‘Dynamics’ Eurorack module from Dannysound. The module has multiple functions and can be patched to operate as a compressor, expander, harmonic exciter, saturator or distortion, sub bass generator, EQ, envelope follower or a simple VCA. With all those functions to hand I wanted to make a video that explores modular music making techniques as well as applying wider music production tips, tricks and workflows that you can apply in your own music and sound creation too.
Throughout the video I’m using 2x Dynamics modules and the VU meters expander allowing for showing more concepts per patch, but you can apply these patches to a single module too. The module can be used as a separate EQ and compressor which too, allowing you to EQ your side chain signal (like sidechain filters on compressors) or simply use a single Dynamics module like two independent modules. With so much potential for this set of functions you’ll find some no talking patches just exploring adding life to beats or the amp drive (lovely saturation) spread throughout the video as musical interludes."
via Thonk
"The Dannysound Dynamics is a fully featured Eurorack mono compressor / expander module with a range of on board controls and features. The module has been designed so that it can be used with another Dynamics module as a stereo pair with the Dannysound VU Meters Expander.

· Compressor / Expander
· Sub Bass Enhancer
· 3 Band Inductor-based EQ
· Harmonic Exciter
The compressor / expander section uses a discrete transistor-based circuit that allows for soft clipping when overdriven. The envelope detector is known as a feedforward type of circuit; taking its input from the signal before it goes to the compressor rather than after. This type of circuit is known for having fast attack times.
The Sub Bass enhancer has its own compression circuit that “ducks” the initial transient. This allows the sub bass to be increased without distortion on the transient peaks increasing the overall level.
There is a MIX control to allow the unprocessed signal to be mixed back in with the processed signal.
The 3 band EQ is an inductor based LCR design. After trying out various EQ topologies this was the design that sounded the nicest. When overdriven it gives a nice “bite” to the sound and it has a certain characterful charm that’s hard to put into words. The controls have a response that are subtle to begin with and get more pronounced as the controls are increased.
The Harmonic Exciter adds a little distortion to the high frequencies which bring out the sparkle of cymbals or the snap of snare drums. The operating bandwidth can be switched between Low (snare drum snap) or High (Cymbals sparkle).
There are inputs for side chaining and control with an external envelope as well as an envelope out to make the envelope detector output available to drive other modules.
It also features separate inputs and outputs for the Compressor / Expander and EQ sections, so they could be used as 2 separate modules."
