The Jupiter-4 came out in 1978 and was one of the first polyphonic synthesizers along with the Prophet 5 and the OB-X. Being affordable, he was often found on the coming New Wave music. Human League, Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, Duran Duran, Simple Minds and many other groups used the synthesizer. The sound is very unique and stands out from the big brothers. Wilder, louder, darker. I prefer this sound character over the others.

Made in Japan. 240 volt. Includes Lid. Small hole drilled below power button from removed ground lift mod."

"Only cosmetic issue is a small pin hole (pictured) on the upper right side of the control panel from an old Devo pin.

Included is an excellent gator hardcase made for a mixer but it fits the Minimoog really well with room for a power supply and expression pedal. And it’s got wheels!

It will run on 6 AA batteries or a DC in power supply. A BRAND NEW Mutec YA-1 power supply will be included as well. This unit is great on the go, hooked up to your computer, or as an easy addition to your rig. There is minor general wear on this MU-15 and the LCD screen is clear, with no major damage on the unit, a clean battery compartment, and the battery cover is also included."
