Miso Modular - Cornflakes Granular Sampler @ Noisebug
video upload by NOISEBUG
via Noisebug
"Cornflakes, being a granular sampler, does not play its samples back conventionally, but split them into smaller bits called grains. Furthermore, the grains are divided into four simultaneous voices to allow for polyphonic pitch control or harmonization.
The module has the ability to time-stretch, pitch-shift and produce harmonics. It’s calibrated to 1v/oct to encourage a bit of musicality. Recording and playback can be triggered manually or via CV.
The module features 32 memory slots for samples stored on an SD card and you can run audio through it live for real-time processing.
There are manual and CV control over Speed, Diffusion, Harmonics, Pitch, Grain Size, Position, Trim and Distribution.
Audio format:
• Stereo
• 48khz, 24-bit sampling
*SD card not included!
Power consumption: max. 165mA at +12 V and 40mA at -12 V
HP : 14"

Serge Ext ADSR to Pitch
video upload by Todd Barton
"I was surprised when I sent the Serge Extended ADSR to Pitch in on a static oscillator -- all sorts of pitch patterns became available based on the interaction of the envelop shape knobs with only a single LFO going to one CV in of envelope shape. Enjoy!

MFB 501 vintage DRUM MACHINE from 1980
video upload by Polykit
"This is the MFB 501 drum machine from 1980. I needed to make a custom power supply cable for this rather unusual plug. I'm pretty excited about this because it was made in my home town!"
Soundtoys: ‘Industrial Atmosphere’ & ‘Cinematic Drums’ Presets by Tom Wolfe
video upload by Tom Wolfe
"Containing 25 presets for Soundtoys 5 Effect Rack, Industrial Atmosphere is designed to add dirty, lo-fi character to your sounds. From subtle shaping to complete obliteration, these presets are perfect for adding an industrial vibe to your synths and samples. Simply dial in the mix knob, and hear them transform. These presets are unashamedly niche, focusing on doing one thing and doing it well. So if you’re looking for a catchall then look away, but if you’re after something to take your sounds to a new level, then these presets won’t disappoint.

Check it out: 1980 Alpha Syntauri Computer Music System | Synth History
video upload by MR TUNA Music
"My friends, I present to you the complete 'alphaSyntauri' (Alpha Syntauri) Computer Music System circa 1980. I finally got it all set up and (mostly) functioning after buying this from a nice old lady in town. The old Apple II clone had a shot power supply so I found a new one and we're off to the races!!
This is a not-so-quick demo of some of the features I was able to coax into functioning, and a few sounds that came standard with this cool vintage computer music system."

Maths Sample & Hold patches!
video upload by MAKEN0ISE
"Maths is famously patch-programmable, but can it act as a Sample & Hold? Let's find out!
Hi! It's Pete from the Make Noise Instagram channel, guest-hosting on YouTube. This video walks through two S&H-like Maths patches: the classic Arcade Trill (a stepped modulation patch created by Tony Rolando, as found in the Maths manual) and a new one called 'Hang Function,' which riffs on some of the ideas from Tony's Arcade Trill and takes them in a more explicitly 'S&H/T&H' direction.
I encourage you to patch along with this video and to use these ideas as starting-points in your own experiments. Thanks and happy patching!

The New Wave Synthesizer - Roland Jupiter-4
video upload by RetroSound
"(c)2007-22 by RetroSound
supported by UVI: http://bit.ly/retrosound-uvi
❤️ Support #RetroSound channel: retrosound.creator-spring.com
The Jupiter-4 came out in 1978 and was one of the first polyphonic synthesizers along with the Prophet 5 and the OB-X. Being affordable, he was often found on the coming New Wave music. Human League, Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, Duran Duran, Simple Minds and many other groups used the synthesizer. The sound is very unique and stands out from the big brothers. Wilder, louder, darker. I prefer this sound character over the others.
The demo track shows a typical drummachine triggered bass with some sounds of the JP-4
all synthesizer sounds: Roland Jupiter-4 (1978)
drums: LinnDrum (1982)
recording: multi-track without MIDI, played by hand"
