The track was inspired by my last trip up north, to Norway. The pictures were taken in the breathtaking landscape of the Sognefjord in spring 2022.

Used gear:
all synthesizer sounds: Roland Juno-60 Analog Synthesizer (1982)
drums: TR-808 + E-MU samples
external fx: EHX Memory Man Deluxe delay
recording: multi-track

The Roland Juno-60 is one of my favorite synthesizer ever. I use the Juno-60 since the mid 90s. Long before all the hype.
A few words come in my mind when I thinking of the synth:
Very inspirative. Wonderful sound character. Easy to use. Very reliable.
Sure all is a matter of taste. We are so different like the synths we love. :)

Here can you find the full Juno-60 playlist with a lot single sound demos and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy.

OXI One sequencing modular, Hydrasynth, Sequential Take 5, Korg NTS-1 (Ambient, Generative)

video upload by Steve Flato

"@oxiinstruments OXI ONE sequencing Sequential Take 5 & ASM Hydrasynth Explorer. Signal from the Take 5 also goes into a Korg NTS-1. OXI ONE is also sequencing CC's on the Hydrasynth (changing the Macro parameters) & the NTS-1 (changing the FX parameters--using @sinevibes Dipole & Droplet effects).

The Take 5 is also run into the modular synth mixer send, which is using @bastlinstruments Dark Matter for the feedback sound and @intellijel Rainmaker for delay. @endorphin.es Furthrrrr Generator doubles the Take 5 Voice as well.

OXI ONE is in Chord mode for the Hydrasynth and Stochastic mode for the Take 5 (you see the Take 5 sequencer on the OXI in this video).

Tales From the Hedge No.3 - acid hedge-hop in the forest with no snow! Synths outside: MC101 TD3

video upload by drone-in-the-woods

"Thought I'd try to get a video with some snow falling but whilst the rest of the country received a dusting, here on the South Downs it just rained. It was so warm that I could play without gloves on!
This was my rehearsal take but as you can hear at the end, it had started to rain and so this is what I got before packing up :)

I'm running the 101 through the looper so that I can record parts into it, freeing up tracks on the 101 for other parts, whilst also getting to use the reverse feature.

Oh and nearly forgot...the small mound at the end of the video is a tumulus - a small barrow probably linked to the iron-age hill fort on the Trundle close by.

The Creative & Advanced Sequential Functions of Step 8 from Joranalogue // Eurorack *MEGA DEMO*

video upload by DivKid

"Here we have the highly anticipated and massively capable (of many things) Step 8 from Joranalogue! Step 8 is a sequential sampling register capable of sequencing, burst generation, gate delays, analogue shift register, hocketing, mute interjections, clock divisions, graphic oscillator & VCA-like behaviour … I could go on, the list of potential is HUGE!

The video roughly follows an order from more basic functions to more advanced, each patch offers a different musical example of that function and it serves as a tutorial to do lots of things with Step 8, learning its functions along the way. With that in mind I’d love to know what you’re favourite patch in the video is and if you have questions along the way leave them in the comments.
