"1970's ARP Odyssey II (Model 2810) - Serial Number: 1812

Odyssey Mark II's were produced between 1975 and 1978. They are largely similar to Mark I's; the main differences are the use of the black and gold color scheme and the inclusion of CV/gate in all models.

The main filter board was replaced a longtime ago, it's possibly the best sounding Odyssey we've heard come through our doors. Filter board is by BEMS (see photos).

Wonderful machine, showing average surface wear for it's age. Perfectly vintage."

"The Yamaha SK50D contains a monosynth, polysynth, strings, and organ. It fills a space similar to that of the Arp Quadra. With dual keyboards. All sounds can be layered for a Big Analog sound."

Wingie Blippoo + TouchOSC

video upload by UncertainMusicCorps

"Quick runout for the alternative Wingie firmware, inspired by Rob Hordijk's original box of controlled chaos.

Control of the beastie is greatly enhanced by the superb TouchOSC template created by Mod Wiggler member bcomnes

Here I'm running the Wingipoo out through Lancet Retroverb spring reverb for extra metal drippiness.

This video is often loud and has a very wide frequency range so choose your playback device accordingly"

GRP - A1

video upload by SchneidersLaden

"Let's listen to the GRP Synthesizer A1 - a very small analog monosynth with a high-quality sound, MIDI, CV connectability – it can be used stand-alone in its very solid case, or mounted in a eurorack modular synth. It has a good size for jamming and a quality feel.

The sound is similar to the bigger GRP synths. The filter design has a lot of character and is capable of producing formant/vocal-like sounds and a liquid sounding resonance. The great sounding distortion parameter offers many more options for designing sounds. With its MIDI and CV/Gate inputs this is a synthesizer that fits in all studio or live-environments."

A new PPG wave 2.2 Sound Tutorial
One of the most impressive intros for synthesizer geeks is Deeper and Deeper by The Fixx from the year 1983. I tried a lot and I came closest to the result when I triggered the PPG wave 2.2 synthesizer from the Linndrum. The resolution is changed manually so results this rattling sound. In the Wave synthesizer memory is a wavetable sound.

The PPG wave & Waveterm Synthesizer System from the year 1982 is one of most fascinating synthesizers ever. You can find a lot demo videos, sound tutorials about the Wave and the Waveterm in the PPG wave playlist.
