Some pics of the inside.

"Very rare, 4 digit serial number (8640) Rocky Mountain Instruments 368x. This is a chance to own a never-been-emulated electric piano just like one Ray Manzerek played with the doors. While not yet as famous as other keyboards from the era like the fender Rhodes it Vox continental, the RMI was nearly as prolific featuring in everything from country rock ballads with Steve Earles band to Broadway being one of Sondheims own early electric piano choices.

This example is in fully working order, though showing signs of corrosion around the leg bases and some key posts. there is general wear and tear as to be found on a previous session instrument And a few keys seem slightly out of tune, though this reduces with proper warm up time."

"The Z-tronics system is a stand-alone system and does not in itself incorporate MIDI signals for output to external MIDI devices such as Synthesizers and Sequencers for generating external electronic sounds or for Recording and Playing actual performances. The Z-MIDI interface was developed to interface at the data level and may be easily added to any Z-tronics system, old or new. Connection requires the two timing signals plus one wire in and out per manual.

There are two models available. Z-MIDI-1 provides one MIDI channel in and out, and is useful for adding a dedicated MIDI sound module for one voice such as a Piano. Z-MIDI directly supports the PianoDisk (c) in a real acoustic piano, or any MIDI Sound Module generated voice.

The Z-MIDI-1 also supports stand-alone uses such as adding a pipe organ chest to ANY keyboard instrument having a MIDI Out. A special version of the Z-MIDI-1 may be installed to operate real Chimes or Carillon, automatically ringing the hour and playing MIDI files (such as Hymns) at programmed times of the day.

Z-MIDI-16 is a full 16 channel OUT, 12 to 16 channel IN module which supports BOTH a Sequencer for Record/Playback AND a separate Sound Module. MIDI Sound Modules may be unified or coupled, or not, as desired. While a factory configuration supports Record/Playback for up to 8 manuals (including pedal and second touch) and Sound Module support for up to four manuals, these defaults may be customized for special installations. An optional Human Interface keypad and display enables preset voices to be selected, and other operating parameters changed. MIDI presets may be operated from the combination action.

The Z-MIDI Interface does not process signals normally used to play the organ, and thus does not affect the reliability of the system."

Lunchbox Sequencer self patch - Low-Gain Electronics | 4U Modular

Lights Visualizer by Vaski.nl

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"I picked up two Light Visualizers on Dutch Modular Fest last saturday. They are made by Amsterdam based Veski Modular. For me, personally, they add a lot of value to my case. The spectral visualizer is really useful if you own a Spectraphon , but it also provides a valuable tuner and tons of metering options. Highly recommended for 'pimping your ride'."

Vaski Lights is a graphical display for your sound in 2 HP.

Also available in silver.

Led display that responds accurately to sound and CV signals. Stereo input and multiple visualization modes let you monitor and design the music you play in a new way! The narrow module fits anywhere: place it next to a synth voice, or on your master output. Keep your levels in check and see the spectral content of the audio stream.

The second jack can be reconfigured as a pass-through output for a mono input signal."

ST Modular - SPREAD MIXER

video upload by Stefan Tretau

"SPM is a 3-Channel Mono Mixer with three volume potentiometers. The gain per channel can be adjusted with trimmers on the board, making this mixer suitable for line and Eurorack levels.

In addition, you can pan channel 1 and 2 with the SPREAD potentiometer and thus spread both channels in the stereo field to the left and right in opposite directions. In the centre position, all channels are panned to the centre. If you turn the potentiometer to the left, channel 1 is panned to the left and channel 2 to the right and vice versa.

This is very useful to quickly clean up a mix and widen the sound spectrum in the stereo field."

Buchla Easel Command 208C - Glowing Hand

video upload by TheTrackdriver

"I am playing with my Easel breakout box for the first time that I have designed and built myself. The hidden functions has now been brought to the front panel of this aux card and I added a few extra features like attenuators and a light beam modifier (Roland D-Beam-ish controller)."

The caverns of hell | Prophet 08 soundscape

video upload by MIDERA

"I think the Prophet 08 is the one of the best DSI synths (my opinion is incoming). It's better than the REV2 for sure, which seems to share a hardness with the Prophet 12. A stiffness? I don't know. It has something I just don't like. The Prophet 08 and Poly Evolver seem to have been saved of this strange sensation. However, the Poly Evolver, specifically MY Poly Evolver, has been a bit problematic since I got it. First, the encoders were bad, so I needed to use deoxit on them. After 4 months, I needed to do it again. However, I decided to replace all of the encoders with 'clicky' detented encoders, the correct ones as described by Sequential via email, since they no longer had the potentiometer edition boards available. I spent about 10 hours replacing all of the encoders. What I learned was that the encoders actually take 2-4 clicks to make a change. This is frustrating because I don't think it is the correct encoders (DSI has not admitted this to me, stating that these are correct). Either they have different number of detents or something about the specifications are wrong - or it's right and they never fixed how the OS views the detents. Either way - it annoys me, making the interface frustrating.

As for the REV2 and Prophet 12, I just never got or never get tones like these. Audio Mod acts very differently in the P12 than the P08 and PE. I don't know why, but they are very different.

Anyway, I do wish I had the regular PE edition of the Poly Evolver... but I'm tempted to just sell it, because I'm too annoyed with myself and the amount of work I did to make it almost as frustrating as before and the Prophet 08 is a joy to use. I could sit in front of this thing for hours and play it. It just does a lot of things right. I wonder who on the team was working there when the P08 came out, and if they left afterwards. I thought the next thing out was the Prophet 12... I don't know.

Strymon Volante and Eventide Blackhole VST used in this track."
