Critter & Guitari - RichAM for 201 Pocket Piano
video upload by Critter & Guitari
"Download this mode here: https://www.critterandguitari.com/blo...
RichAM is an amplitude modulation synthesizer. It's great for bass sounds and plucky notes! Or drift into Lake Ethereal with a warbly pad. Use it in combination with 201's onboard sequencer and pattern generators to find your sound!"
UDO Super 6 - is a Progressive Monster!
video upload by Scott McAuley Sounds
"Patches will be available at https://www.orano.co.uk/shop or http://www.synthsounds.co.uk
Decided to put a little track together utilising some if the sounds from Virtuality Vol.1
The UDO Super 6 is a real progressive workhorse, absolutely fantastic synth!
all sounds with exception of drums and vocals are from the UDO Super-6 no other synths used in this demo track.
Copyright of track belongs to Scott McAuley.
Enjoy!

ALM in VCV Rack - Software Modules - PAMELA'S PRO WORKOUT Comes to VCV Rack
video upload by ALM TV
"Full ‘virtual’ software versions of popular ALM Busy Circuits modules are now available for VCV Rack, the virtual modular platform based on Eurorack modular synthesisers. Here we quickly demo a variety of patches in VCV.
Create simple clocked triggers, complex rhythmic waveforms, quantized melodic patterns or random chaos with the Pamela's PRO Workout, access a multitude of classic hardware effects processors with the MFX, and generate classic 12-bit digital wavetable drum voices via the ‘Tyso Daiko’.
All modules featured are available to purchase now from the VCV Rack Store alongside a selection of free modules.
For full specs please visit: https://busycircuits.com/vcv/
To purchase visit: https://library.vcvrack.com/?brand=AL..."
And a press release for PAMELA'S PRO WORKOUT FOR VCV RACK:
The ubiquitous clocked modulator Eurorack module Pamela’s PRO Workout is now available virtualised as a software plug in for VCV Rack - a free popular cross platform software based virtual modular synthesiser.
It’s array of must have clocking and modulation capabilities are now accessible from within VCV. Add a powerful essential tool to your VCV Rack or simply audition its feature set before acquiring the physical module.
VCV Pamela’s PRO Workout provides 8 highly editable outputs producing various control voltage signals, all correlated and synced to a BPM based master clock.
Each output can produce anything from simple clocked triggers to complex rhythmic waveforms, quanitsed melodic patterns or random chaos with many parameters controllable directly or via assigned external CV. These features, combined with a proven, easy to use and quick user interface provide almost limitless synced modulation possibilities in a tiny amount of space.
VCV Pamela's PRO Workout plugin runs the exact same core DSP and user interface code as the physical Eurorack module. It includes the
‘AXON-2’ CV expander and offers additional features such as support for multiple instances plus keyboard and mouse control shortcuts.
Available now from the VCV Rack Store for $20
Launched alongside VCV PAM PRO are two new freely available modules; the popular MCO & Pip Slope (mkII) both available now alongside a selection of other useful free ALM VCV modules:
• VCV Beast’s Chalkboard: Octave Switcher & More • VCV O/A/x2: Dual Offset & Attenuverter
• VCV Tangle Quartet: Quad Linear VCA & Mixer
• VCV MCO: Compact Digital VCO
• VCV Pip Slope (mk II): Compact Envelope Generator
Other software versions of popular ALM Busy Circuits modules are also available for VCV
Rack including:
VCV MFX: a compact stereo digital audio multi effects processor offering 16 different full
featured effects programs plus a number of metering utilities. Available now for $20
VCV Tyso Daiko: a dual 12-bit wavetable drum voice that features a wide ranging pitch sweep section, tilt EQ, digital wavefolder, unique surface control, and CV control over all parameters. Available now for $15"
HEXINVERTER VCNO & MINDPHASER NOW AVAILABLE
3 Patches for Complex Oscillators // Mindphaser from Hexinverter & Erica Synths (Eurorack demo)
video upload by DivKid
"In this video we’ll look at 3 patches that you can apply to the complex oscillators in your life. I’ll be using the new Mindphaser from Hexinverter, now made by Erica Synths (more on that below), but you can use any Buchla 259 style complex/dual oscillator to apply these ideas. Do let me know in the comments if you give any of these patches a try and share your favourite ways to patch complex oscillators too.
I’ll be working on a full demo on the Mindphaser in the future, so if you have questions or requests you’re welcome to leave those in the comments to inform future video too.
You may have seen the Mindphaser before, it was released by Hexinverter some years ago however … they couldn’t make many of them at the time and not long after closed up the company for good. The newly released Mindphaser is now made by Erica Synths, it’s still Hexinverter though and this is made under license and agreement with Stacy at Hexinverter. It’s great to see this module come back to life and it’s by all accounts the same module as it was, just with some minor tweaks for ease of manufacture and parts available. I’m looking forward to Erica Synths remaking some other Hexinverter modules too."

"Mindphaser is a next generation complex dual oscillator for the Eurorack modular synthesizer format. Its dual oscillator architecture builds on and advances principles developed decades ago, by pioneers of electronic music synthesis.
Mindphaser generates sounds through its dual VCO cores: the Carrier and Modulator, and in addition to these cores, a palette of intermodulation capability is offered through the Modulation Bus (ModBus) and a separate, supplementary through-zero phase modulation (TZ-PM) bus. The sound is further sculpted by a final set of tools contained in the Waveshaper, before reaching the final output."
"VCNO [demo video here] is a noise oscillator, capable of producing full spectrum white noise and various random signals. But that’s where its similarity to other noise generators stops. VCNO can be used like a VCO – you can modulate the pitch over CV and use its multiple outputs simultaneously, each with a distinct sonic character. As well, you can patch it into a VCA or use it to modulate and trigger other elements in your modular system.
Features
NOISE is the main LFSR output. With the pitch knob turned fully clockwise this will output pure white noise. As you turn the pitch down, the noise evolves into crunchy noise, reminiscent of vintage video game sounds
GATE is a DC-coupled output. This is perfect for supplying random triggers in your system
SCREECH features a dark, howling overtone to the main NOISE output
SIZZLE features a related control, which takes the output from pure white noise when turned fully clockwise to a vinyl-like crackle when turned anti-clockwise
TEAR sounds like the noise generator is broken and tearing itself apart
All outputs work simultaneously and are simultaneously affected by the pitch knob or CV
The frequency of VCNO can be modulated via CV – just patch any CV signal into this jack
A clock signal input bypasses the internal frequency generator. You can apply a clock from a trigger sequencer to create a pseudorandom drum trigger pattern synced to the rest of your drums."

[ELZ_1 play] SiGRINDER - An Experiment in Generating Sounds from Your Own Voice
video upload by SONICWARE
"Today I experimented with "SiGRINDER," SONICWARE's unique synth engine that can generate sounds by decomposing and reconstructing audio data recorded on an ELZ_1 play.
The source audio was a recording of my voice speaking "A, I, U, E, O" and I used it.
SiGRINDER generates sounds by adjusting parameters such as the resolution of the generated waveform (RESO), the degree of waveform extraction (DIG), the direction of extraction (POSITION), and the length of the generated waveform (TIME).
In the video, I show how to generate sounds from voice recordings and a small performance example.
In today's experiment, the DIG parameter is modulated by LFO.
I hope you will enjoy the sounds that you can recognize the original voice and the new sounds that are not at all.
Please take a look.
Yu Endo"
Yamaha Montage M Q&A
