7/9/23 ElectroComp EML 200 (x2) + STG MooSonics + Synthesizers.com + Synthetic Sound Labs + LWSS CGS

video upload by Cfpp0

"Not sure why this video is framed like this. Most of what I am doing is happening out of frame, up at the top left, on the STG MooSonics Vanilla filter, mixer, and vca envelope modules. And probably quite a few clues to remembering this patch lie out of frame to the right of the EML 200s. This was shot before the SSL 1660, so my guess is that the LWSS CGS01 sub oscillator module is producing the little sequence—fed envelopes from the EML or LFO from Synthesizers.com."

Serge Paperface 50 - Sound Spectrum

video upload by Serge Modular | Random*Source

"Quick overview of the different colors and sounds the Serge Paperface 50 system [additional posts here] is capable of. Panels used: Helios, Paris Flash, Tempo di Roma.

No reverb or FX added."

Albers ambient jam.

video upload by DecadeBridge

"The pitch of Albers' 4 oscillators are being modulated with different rate sine waves from Pamela's Pro Workout. Albers' onboard pitch LFOs then create a stepped tone. The VCAs of the four oscillators are being controlled using two envelope generators and an envelope from Pam's Pro Workout. A fast decaying envelope is the sent to Albers' filter cutoff CV in.
Output to the microcosm set to one of the warp algorithms."

FIVE SONGS ON THE SOLTON PROGRAMMER 24

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"We compiled all our Solton Programmer 24 and Solton Project 100 songs in one convenient video. Italo Disco Machines?
Not false - but these two hotties offer a bit more than that.
Launched around the same time in the mid-80s, none of them caused much stir but at least the Programmer 24 was exported widely and they pop up on the market even in the US.
Overrun by sleeker Japanese machines, most Solton units probably seemed a bit dated at the moment of their release but re-adjusting the rearview mirror a bit we think they sound pretty great.
The Solton Programmer 24 is the obvious song writing tool:
It's a drum machine, bass line generator, chord generator and arpeggiator with an added string and organ section and a filter for the arpeggiator.
A very simple thing, almost a toy, but it's fun as hell and adding some effects to the sounds it gets interesting. For effects we're using the Schulte Compact Phasing, the low-budget, digital delay unit Vermona DEG-50 and the oddball, even lower-budget, mini-rack, multi-effect LEM FX22.

Vintage Audio Institute is a gear vendor and recording facility in Florence Italy."

What is Analogue Solutions Maximus?

video upload by Starsky Carr

"Analogue Solutions has done it again.. gone and made another MASSIVE synth. Maximus is its first poly synth... and what a synth.

Here's a review and demo showing how all 8 voices are almost a complete synth including their own sequencer, with global control ensuring it can work as a poly.

I've been having too much fun using it like an 8 track analogue workstation!

Luma-1 drum machine overview and demo

video upload by DeftAudio

"Luma-1 is an authentic recreation of the iconic LM-1, originally designed by Roger Linn in 1979 and now brought back by Joe Britt. Fully recreating the original design of the LM-1, it utilizes the same audio path (with vintage DACs and filters), runs the unmodified LM-1 software, and adds a secondary modern processor for adding highly desirable features like loadable sounds, USB connectivity, MIDI and more."
