"Ok, I have no idea what to call this, frankensynth, poly 1600, dual poly, super poly 800?

I’ve married two Korg Poly 800’s permanently together to death do they part.

Both have cutoff and resonance controls each and 12/24dB filter switch from the Moog Slayer mod.

Both run into a TC Hall of Fame pedal that’s been mounted inside the unit. Each poly runs mostly independent from one another other than the joystick which does weird things to both.

Also, there is a switch that turns on or off the sequencer to each so you can run them both independently.

Also, there is a midi in and stereo out. The 4 knobs control the mix of the left and right for each synth running into the TC before output.

it’s not perfect, super weird, and esoteric, but if you like that kind of thing it might be for you."

"When I saw this module for the first time a few months ago, I knew I wanted one yesterday. Then GameChanger audio reached out to me if I would be interested in doing a 'second opinion'. A different angle, away from the trash and farts, and more into the cinematic realm. Sure! It's absolutely stunning for many, many genres, also including ambient.

Compared to the old Plasma Drive, the Voice is a joy to work with. The Drive is an all or nothing distortion with no mercy. The Voice is a sound design dream with 49 'engines' which can deliver tons of sounds. It can scream and buzz like a fan in a bathtub, but when you turn default trigger mode OFF the oscillator will be free and ready for your own sculpting. It's no secret I prefer using a LPG instead of the internal VCA (or any) to take off the rough edges and add a bit of organic life to it. I don't think I can warmly recommend a module I got free of charge, but I am doing it anyway.

"Original composition for (mostly) analog keys. The Voyager is played through a Boss RE-20 Space Echo. The Rhodes is played through a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator (in bypass mode) with the drive at 2 o'clock and an Earthquaker Devices Ghost Echo."

"Excellent cosmetic condition. The tape counter doesn’t engage but the entire is otherwise fully functioning (the LCD memory counter functions fine). Cassette functions. Some scuffs to the hardshell case. Lid foam has deteriorated in some places (see photos).

Great to sample from and sounds brilliant with a little reverb. Check out our short video where we couple this with a mellotron."
