The DMX is a programmable digital drum machine manufactured by Oberheim. It was introduced in 1980 at a list price of US$2,895 (equivalent to $10,700 in 2023) and remained in the company's product line until the mid-1980s.
The Oberheim DMX was the second digital drum machine ever to be sold as a commercial product, following the Linn LM-1 Drum Computer in 1980. Its popularity among musicians of the era contributed to the sound and evolution of 1980s new wave, synth-pop and hip hop music.
This specific DMX was owned by a well-know 60s folk musician who used it on his later albums in the 1980s. Has been stored. Will share details with buyer.
This DMX has the factory MIDI ad-on expansion and walnut siding."

Roland System 8 Jupiter 4 plugout soundscape - Waking into nothing
video upload by MIDERA
"I finally got around to recording something with the System 8 Jupiter-4 plug out. I'm quite torn to be honest, in what to keep in this machine. I think the Jupiter 4 plug out is a little more interesting than the Juno 60 plug out, but I like them both. I don't want to give up either the Jupiter 8 or JX-3P (although I own an actual JX-3P that I am trying to sell).
The Jupiter 4 has a more interesting sound to it in my opinion. Plus I love the random ARP it has. The Ensemble effect is way too noisy. I realize that's 'how it was' but they fixed this in the Juno plug out to tone the noise levels down if you wanted. Here you have no choice. Also, you can't adjust the volume of all the different oscillators on the Jupiter 4, which isn't ideal.
Anyway, it's a good sounding engine and I'm thinking this is the one to keep in there (despite enjoying the Juno 60 plugout as well).

VGM #217: Save Room Theme // Animal Well [Ambient Synth Cover]
video upload by Amie Waters
"Animal Well is a really magical game. One of my favorite games of the year its just full of the best kind of vibes and I decided to try and capture all those vibes in my own way with ambient synths and quiet pianos. Sometimes, I just spent time vibing out in the save rooms, especially after encounters with kangaroos, or when trying to figure out what all my scribbled notes meant.
Thank you Billy Basso for crafting such a wonderful game and thank you to Mr. @videogamedunkey for stepping up into the publishing world and giving such a unique and beautiful game the boost it needed to be seen. I hope you all enjoy."

Review: https://solidtrax.nl/studio-electronics-se-3x-review/
"99 crispy creations for the @StudioElectronics #SE3X. These #presets are crafted with much love and these #sounds will enrich your future tracks. Suitable for ambient, cinematic, synthwave and various sorts of electronic dance music genres. This comprehensive synthesizer is a true analog synthesizer with outstanding qualities.
All sounds are recorded dry, towards the end of each demo you'll notice the addition of some applied effects. What you're hearing is the raw output from this SE-3X; no EQ or dynamic tools have been applied.
Effects applied are:
@bitwig Chorus+ & Delay+ - amazing chorus and delay with loads of options!
@talsoftware Chorus LX - another classic.
@AconDigital Verberate 2 - great reverb that may use some more attention if you ask us!
@RelabDevelopment Sonsig Rev-A - true gem!"

SDC03 - Musique Concrète
video upload by FL3SHB4CK
"@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC #MORPHAGENE #HISS AND A ROAR
A new Sound Design Challenge from Hiss and a Roar? Great!
Let's make a morphagene reel from the sounds (as provided here: https://hissandaroar.com/v3/welcome/f... ) in one single splice.
It's a very simple patch (literally a 3 modules patch) Morphagene into Beads modulated by Dual S&H+. End of gene trigger the S&H, modulating Gene size and Slide, a slewed version modulating Varispeed for smooth pitch changes.
Beads density sparse random, reverse grains with slight auto random mod, pitch 2 octaves up and of course, a lot of reverb!
A dedication to Pierre Shaeffer, thanks to these great sounds."
