This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."

"VCV Pluck
A physical modeling synthesizer simulates the acoustic properties of real instruments such as vibrating strings, resonating tubes, and struck surfaces. VCV Pluck uses DSP algorithms to model physical instruments with an intuitive interface to perform and fine-tune the sound. Musicians and sound designers can use this module to create familiar sounds or explore novel sounds beyond acoustic instruments.
Perform
Like many synth voices, VCV Pluck can be controlled by sequencers or MIDI sources via its V/OCT pitch and GATE inputs. If a polyphonic cable is patched to V/OCT, VCV Pluck generates a polyphonic voice. Optionally, patch a trigger signal into RETR if you need to retrigger the voice while the gate is active, which re-strikes the instrument even when playing legato notes. The VEL velocity input controls the intensity of sound from a 0–10 V signal. If VEL is unpatched, the voice’s intensity behaves like a 5 V velocity signal.
Enable HOLD to sustain the voice after the gate falls. This is useful for triggering percussive models like bells while allowing them to ring out completely, or for creating sustained drones."

Novation Peak geeking around

This is one of those videos where you won't hear much change until you jump around with the player controls. It's an interesting stroll through various wavetable waveforms, including live editing via the software editor. It will give you an idea of some of the textures capable on the Peak and Summit including the use of various effects and filter. You can zoom in on the Peak display to see some of the edits being made.

This tribute was entirely created using the Oberheim OBX8 desktop, controlled using the Roland A50 with polyphonic aftertouch !
Custom sounds were used.
External effects (Shimmer and Delay) were provided using the Eventide H90.
